The fabric is smooth to the touch and feels like highly priced luxury sheets--extremely Zen, for mind and wallet. If you think microfiber might be too hot, let me assure you it is not. You won't even know you are sleeping between sheets, it's more like sleeping on air. Plenty of material to tuck in and if your mattress is 18" go for them.....the only thing I can't tell as of yet is how they wash. Well worth the money thus far.
