I like the quality of the wires and the obviously good waterproofing. Very thick silicone covering that I am pretty positive could withstand being submerged. I installed it on my KLR650 after seeing another review had put it on his KLR650 which convinced me this was the right one. The factory tail light is worrying me about whether other road users could see me when I brake. The instructions were nice and detailed and it was packaged nicer than a lot of things I get from Amazon. The double sided tape is thick and good quality. You absolutely must prep the surface prior to sticking it which will help it last and bond properly. The installation was very straightforward. When I hit the brakes, the brightness increases with the factory tail light and the brightness is great. Would buy again for sure if I needed to.

The red leds are seriously bright which is,usually , exactly what you want when you buy red indicator lights to make your vehicle as visible as possible. ( amber ones not nearly as bright) They actually come with a warning not to look at them directly. I have purchased others here that in my opinion are just not bright enough to do the job. if you need to make a sharp right angle bend in the wire to hide it as it comes out of the LED the directions suggest you use a hairdryer to soften the wire and make it more flexible. I cleaned the metal good before I adhered the LED and then clamped it for 24 hours just to make sure it would stick permanently and survive at 80 miles an hour. So far so good! Also, as an added bonus these are so thick that they actually shine on two sides although not nearly as much as flat side does and in my case function as side running lights and to a lesser extent additional rear running lights. I think the overall design could be improved though if the wire coming out of the light made a sharp right angle band into the panel and which it was mounted. This would hide the wire in those cases and give it a more professional look.

I got the taillight version which I used for extra taillight on my motorcycle. I've installed them & they are okay during the day but I really wanted to used them at night to increase visibility of my motorcycle at night which it does well. However, the brake light part is not a bright as I expected as thought it would much brighter than the taillight feature of those LED strip, Neverless it good for my needs. I've attached a video between what they say 50% vs 100% as I toggling between the 2 levels with braking and there isn't much difference between the two intensity for this LED. I was expecting much brighter when in 100% mode or one half of the LED be on for "running" mode & all LED be on for "brake" mode.

Great lights for price. Used on motorcycle as additional brake light. Difference between running light and brake not that great so I just used high beam as brake and it works well.

Good quality. Unlike so many other led lights. Can’t see why you would not be happy.

J'avais comme problème que la lumière rouge arrière était "en partie" caché par mon rack arrière et encore plus si je mettait quelque chose sur ce rack, comme une sacoche. maintenant mes signalement de freins on plus de visibilité ... et avec style! 😎 edit 2024: 3 ans plus tard fonctionne toujours aussi bien!
