Great addition to the Travel Trailer
I have 2 propane tanks on my travel trailer. It's not the end of the world, but it's kind of a hassle to take them off and shake them to figure out how much propane is left. This was quick and easy to install. I only have one thing to make people aware of. I took off the propane bottle and connected the gauge to it just to see how it worked before I connected the hose to the trailer. After I opened the propane tank valve, it leaked gas through the hose. It took me just a second to recognize that there's nothing stopping the gas from flowing. The gauge is not a valve. After I realized I was being dumb and connected the other end of the hose, it didn't leak at all and works great.

Originally, they leaked...But new set are improved.
The first set leaked at the gauge fittings. Contacted seller and they agreed to replace. The latest set are different and look like better construction. No leaks after install.

Leaked. No help. No accountability.
I could write a long story, but in short, we have a fleet of campers and we purchased 17 sets of these… that means we’ve purchased 34 hoses. Not only did they not perform correctly, but they created a liability loss and major customer complaints with our guests in the camper. EVERY ONE of them leaked. Tested them, tried them, did everything possible. Switched lines, purchased new hose leads, used tape, torque wrenches etc. Then after explaining and trying to explore options, the seller not only refused to accept responsibility but then said (in essence) they don’t guarantee it to work. Wow. We buy more products online than most and this is just my 2nd review less than 5 stars and what a disappointment. Go with someone else. Now we’re stuck with 35 non-working items and out hundreds of dollars as a result. #rantover

Better than OEM replaced
Both OEM hoses were rubber and age cracked. These worked perfect as replacement. The originals were sealed in plumbers sealer, difficult to remove and filled the threads. Had to run these in several times to clear threads before put seal tape on and cranked in. Checked for leaks and all good to go. Better than OEM plus have fuel level guage.

Lasted 2 years..
Mine lasted for about 2 years then both started leaking. Was thinking about ordering them again or switching back to traditional non gauge style..

Propane hoses
This is my second order, propane, hoses don't last very long these days. Thinking about selling my camper and just moving on, I can't afford to buy parts every year for this camper

3 out of 6 leaked within 1 year
The idea of having a gauge on a propane tank is great. We all want to know how much propane is left. But poor production of the braided hose, which causes propane leaks overshadows the benefit of the gauges. I have purchased three packages of these hoses from Amazon and at least three of the 6 hoses have leaked within one year. What is the point of saving on cheap Chinese hoses and then loosing propane due to leaks? I am going to try American made Marshall Excelsior MEGR-253P-PT18 Two Stage Excela-Flo Automatic Changeover Regulator & Pigtail Kit for $81. This package includes a regulator. My Camco regulator finally went out after 4 years so I thought I would try Marshall Excelsior for both the regulator and the pigtail hoses. As for the gauges, I will try the separate attached gauges, not built into the hoses, or just go back to lifting / weighing the tanks like we used to do.

Both these worked great. Have a good idea when the tank is empty or close to now without removing tank. Pressure in tank will go up and down relative to temperature outside but when she says empty, she empty. And if it's low you can compare it to the other tank guage. Great!

Arrived earlier than expected in mail was easy to attach to propane tanks just needed to buy additional fittings to reduce to proper size but that was an error on our part when ordering.

Old hoses were leaking. That was the main reason for replacement. So, in that regard, my problem was solved. I was hoping the gauges would work a little better than they do. On a full tank the needle points into the green arc, but not far from the yellow “low gas” warning arc. It doesn’t go all the way to the opposite side of the gauge where a “full” indication would be. I hoped the needles would have far greater range so I wouldn’t have to “estimate” how full the tank is by taking it off and weighing and shaking it around. But I didn’t pay much more than I would have for plain hoses with no gauges. So I guess I can’t complain too much.😂
