For someone who uses it for micro trace repair on circuit boards, there is no way you could even come close to using an entire roll in your lifetime. I use it to repair the finest of traces - sub-layer iphone traces that have been severed due to long screw damage. They work great, this wire is almost exactly the thickness of the traces I repair with it, though I wonder if the even thinner roll would have been easier to use. This wire is so thin, it's hard to say if the added difficulty of using an even thinner wire would outweigh the benefit of reduced thickness or not.
