Sturdy Build, And Puts Out A Lot Of Air For Its Size
This dual-head fan works fine. It is variably directional, and fans can be aimed individually. It has two power settings, and it comes with two double-sided sticky patches that allow you to secure the unit to various surfaces. On the highest power setting, the fan blades make a lot of noise, but then again they move a lot of air even for their small size. Which brings me to the fact that these fan heads are smaller than they appear on the Amazon website. Nevertheless, the unit seems sturdily built. UPDATE July 30, 2016 This fan continues to serve me extremely well. It's small and plastic, but I have been running it for hours and hours at a time. And the only thing I can say is that this is the fan you want to get. I only wish that the manufacturer would make it so that you can turn each fan on or off as desired. Sometimes I just don't need both fans to be spinning, and it would be nice to conserve a bit of power but shutting down one. I suppose that power consumption isn't critical if you're connect to the car's battery because you can just turn on the ignition and let it run for awhile to recapture energy. But I often run this fan off of my potable power box when I go camping, and I don't always have the option of recharging it until I get back home.

Great for urban camping
I do alot of urban camping in my 1990 ford ranger. Its not that I am homeless I have a real nice home. I just refuse to pay the outrageous prices for a hotel room when I travel. So for the price of a one nite stay at a decent hotel I converted the bed of my ranger into a camper and use a cab high shell as the roof. I have power, a bed, tv, cooking area, water, toilet and storage. Bathing is taken care of at truck stops. You can imagine it does get hot in the camper at times. So, I ordered one of these 12volt two head fans to circulate the air. Because of the price I really didn't expect to much when I ordered it. I just needed a quiet 12volt fan to move the air. As a urban camper I don't want to draw any undue attention to myself. Thats why my I keep my truck mechanically sound, clean and with a decent paint job. When I received the fan and turned it on I was impressed. The fan moves quite a bit of air and with the directional heads I can put the air where I need it. I was so impressed that I ordered two more that night. With two of them and the window opened a little I can create a breeze in the camper. I also put one in the cab of the truck. It should help with not having to use the AC as much. Which in turn should help with increasing my gas mileage. Instead of useing the supplied adhesive pads to mount the fan's I have glued small magnets to the bottoms. Which allows me to position them anywhere in the camper or truck that is metal. I just received them. So, I can't attest to their durability at this time. In my opinion, these fans don't cost that much and with the money I am saving by not staying at motels when I travel. I could buy a new one every month and still keep hundreds of dollars in my pocket. Which allows me to travel more.

This fan works when my boat is docked and ai am working on my boat
While I wish this fan had more power, it mounted it by my boat console and able to take my time plotting my course for the day. My pontoon boat radar, map apps and engine monitoring system take a few minutes to power up. Under the Florida sun, it is hot to sit there and wait for them to be fully operational. This Fanny keeps me cool as I prep the boat to get ready to go out for the day. Well worth the price.

Pretty good fan! Blows air well!
I don't have it on my dash though, it just blows the hot heat from the dark dash at you. But it blows pretty good amounts of air so if it's dark or cooled down and you need some extra air circulation, this has you covered. And it only consumes about 5W of power on high which is incredibly impressive. The sticky pads are useful if you like removing things. I wouldn't trust it to stay affixed somewhere through a crash, but you can plop it on your dash and not worry about it coming off. And if you need to move it, it's not terribly difficult to remove and stick somewhere else. Pads still stayed sticky so far.

Extremely high powered but ONE issue
I have been on the hunt for a fan for my car for weeks. I live in the northern part of florida so durning the winter are tempatures are substantially cooler & stays consistently cool for months. In the beginning of the winter my car AC went out, I haven’t fixed it yet because it’s been so cold I had no need to put out that amount of money. Well now it’s getting unbearably hot again and my repair shop couldn't get me in until 3 weeks from now! So I needed a quick alternative to get me through until my car repair appointment. I received today & I immediately went to test it out. This fan is amazing, it really puts out a lot of wind power. I was sitting in park, and although it’s not “cold air” it was a very pleasant powerful breeze that made me feel less miserable about the next time I’ll have to drive in the car 😂 My only complaint is one of the two fans was not working at all, I’m not sure why because the button is supposed to control both. So I can only imagine how much more amazing it be having two of those powerful winds. so I’m disappointed about that, I was going to order 3 more so I could mount one in front of each seat in the car, but I am not willing to spend $60 more and risk getting 3 more fans that only have one functioning. 😭 I live in the country, the closest ups for Amazon returns is 45 minutes away & not worth the drive for the return. If it weren’t for the non functioning second fan I’d rate this a 5 star!

Wow
This fan is a lifesaver for me. I have a Dodge Ram 2500 with a non functioning blend door; therefore I have no defroster. With the freezing North Ohio winter, I needed something and was desperate since I didn't have $900 to fix the blend door. My mechanic recommended a small fan to put on the dashboard. I couldn't be more happy. This thing puts out some serious air for such a small fan. Yes, it's a little noisy, but it's worth every penny and does a great job. Even in the worst snow or cold, this little fan really keeps my windshield defrosted. I do recommend buying a nonslip dashboard PAD to put this on so that it stays in one spot. Overall, 5 stars isn't enough for me considering the cost and how great this has worked for me.

Not really worth it
*Update: One head is broken, motors are getting weak Bought these not too long ago. Turns out that adjusting them too many times will break the fans down in the base(they do not turn 360 degrees, and there is a hard stop if you try. I suppose whatever wiring goes through into the base from the fan head broke after being adjusted 90 degrees left and right too many times in a 100+ degree car). They're also not as powerful as when i first bought them (not that they were very powerful to begin with). Pros: Adjustable. Theres two of them. Its small enough to stick to an arm rest. Fan cages are actually really well designed, and very strong. Also the plug on these is really sturdy .Even superior units have really cheaply built plug ends that quickly get bent out of shape or lightly corroded/rusted, immediately causing the unit to become 'dead' even though only the plug end has gone off. Cons: Not very powerful, not very big, Not very well built on the inside, the fans do not rotate 360 degrees (but the fan heads tilt 360 degrees), and the motors seem susceptible to damage from heat and humidity. Biggest complaint: The power/speed knob is not actually 'attached' to the peg on the base. No glue. No anything. Its a simple half-peg with the knob just PLACED ON. Which will come off if you turn them on and off frequently. Very frustrating when you're a delivery driver and you go to turn these on or off, and the freaking knob just lifts off the peg as you go to turn it (Oh yeah, some texture on there to facilitate turning it would have been nice too). Probably wont bother you unless you drive for a living (which i do). Unless you're really set on having two below average fans set one way forever, avoid these please. Take it from someone who needs a decent fan to do his JOB, and not a bunch of people who need these for their "Jeep" for their "Dogs in the back seat". Its better than not having AC, but not for very long.

I'm very pleased. A quality product for my camper at a reasonable price!
I'm very pleased with this little fan set. I voided the warranty I'm sure by taking it apart to figure out where the wires ran inside. I then drilled a few holes in the base and mounted it on the lower ceiling inside my camper. The goal is to move the heat round. These fans are nice and quiet. They draw around .6A on low and 1.2A on high. They move the air nicely. I think they will be a real plus when summer comes too. I'm sure they never intended them to be ceiling mounted, but they work great in this application with just a little modification. Just watch the wires in the base of you done what I did so you don't hit them. They kind of run everywhere in there. WIre was far too long. But I decided to bundle it and hide it for now. May shorten it later if I decide to keep the fans where they are installed.
