I purchased these because they are 4000 K, which I thought would be better than the 3000 K at giving great white light. I am very happy with the brightness and white light tone. At first I was going to only use one, but decided to use both to really light up the dartboard! (I just noticed in my picture that I need to move the lighting down a bit on the board) Both lights will function with one remote. I mounted the lights into a ceiling joist. The lights are very adjustable. I was also pleased that in addition to the lights various adjustments, the entire light swivels 360 degrees on the base too. I likely won't be changing the light direction often, but if I wanted to use the color changing feature and swivel the light over my pool table to the right I have that option. I haven't had them long so I can't speak to overall battery life.
