Makes job so easy and enjoyable...

I actually had to go through 3 of these to find one fit for purpose. First one was missing parts, returned. Second one drove me insane, constantly jamming and I'd have to take it apart. Not embarrassed to say it almost brought me to tears, it was such a tiring and poor product to use, combined with heat and the awkwardness of my workspace I nearly threw it several times. returned it. Third one, and NOW I understand the great reviews of this product. I've put in over 500 rivets with it and it's jammed exactly 0 times. The used rivet falls out, the action is smooth and easy. What's interesting is that all 3 came in a different box and packaging so I think it's perhaps being revised? Anyway I'd definitely recommend the product and if it's not smooth and easy to use, return it for a replacement, that's not the tool you're looking for.

I liked this tool while it lasted, which wasn't that long. I tried using it on 1/4" ali rivets, and one of the circlips kept coming loose after that. I'd have to disassmble it and reinstall the circlip after a couple of uses, every time after that. 1/4" is an unusally big rivet, but it does say on the box it can do 1/4" steel, and these were only ali rivets, so I think it is a tool for lighter applications at the end of the day. Having said that, I had less problems with this than with the 12V Milwaukee rivetters, and it's a lot cheaper and easier to have in your toolbox than a 12V rivetter. If you are doing rivets all day though, I think it's worth getting an 18V or pneumatic rivetter, despite things like this promising the world on the box.

This is an excellent tool. It feels very high quality. I’ve seen the cheaper ones but this is in a different league. I’m sure the cheap ones are fine for home/DIY use but if you intend to use your rivet-drill adapter on a job site I highly recommend shelling out for this version. It makes very quick work of jobs that would normally have my arms throbbing the next day. As others not, the only slight annoyance is that the damn case is fitted so the same tip must be put back in the tool in order for them all to fit. This is annoying if it’s not the size you use most often.
