The instructions I have read say yes it is safe on both salt and fresh water tanks

Does the 1000ml size come with a filter bag for placing in the sump?

Hi Michael, no the 1000 ml. size does not come with a filter bag. I would recommend to run it in a media reactor, it will be much more efficient that way.

Is RowaPhos less likley to clump than BRS standard GFO?

Either one will clump if not used properly but Rowaphos is a great product!

Does this need to rinsed? I saw some people rinse it and others don't..what are your suggestions? i will use it within a reactor on 120 Reef.

My understanding is that you should not rinse this product. I never have and have never had issues with it in my 120.
