Great replacement heads for my skull shaver

Purchased these for my husband who has the silver pro. As they should, these work perfectly. Quick and easy to attach to the base unit. Great value for money.

The Skull Shaver is the best head shaver I've tried, the replacement heads are good, solid and last quite a long time with care. However they are very expensive, not surprisingly given the engineering involved. Once done, the discarded head isn't easily recycled.

Fits the original shaver, got it as a replacement for my partner he said works perfectly fine, was easy to change.

First time I bought a replacement blades for my skull shaver and was cheaper than manufacture site when they add deliver charge as i dont want to subscribe. It came with a small bottle of oil to lubricant the blades monthly which I didn't know I had to. Over all brilliant and will buy again.

Felt compelled to write a quick review, given the amount of non-positive reviews on this updated product.. Having discovered I had alopecia approx. 1.5 yrs ago, I had to go the 'bald' route. I need to shave my head daily, to avoid the unsightly slowly-ever--expanding patches of total baldness that alopecia has given me. Finding the skullshaver a year ago was a godsend, and the Forte blades were great, and now they are even better. I had a quick dry shave with the new blades a couple of days ago when they first arrived, and that was good enough, but I just now went for my usual foam shave, after a couple of days growth (and where I don't have alopecia patches, I have thick dark hair), and it was glorious. Very smooth, very comfortable, and maybe everso slightly closer than the previous Forte blades. Cleaning them is great. I rinse through running hot water halfway through the shave, blades intact, as I previously did. And then afterwards, just pop off the bottom and give all a good rinse through, and good as new. How I use: wet the head with warm-hot water, a few double-handfuls. I use Gillette fusion 5 ultra sensitive gel (which turns to foam) - you don't need much at all, I create a very thin layer of foam. Then shave, nice slow smooth motions, I mix circular with linear to ensure getting all the tricky spots, and done in 2-4 mins, depending on length of hair. A highly recommended upgrade. Update: after approx 5 uses, included removing the blades to deep clean, all the components have fallen apart. You can re-assemble them and snap them back together, but then when shaving again it feels/sounds like there are a lot of loose components rattling around inside, it feels un-solid when shaving. I can't tell if all blades are operating, and so I'm spending longer to shave my head. Amazon won't send a replacement as it's sold by Skullshaver, and only 'fulfilled by Amazon'. Amazon also wouldn't send me a pre-paid returns label in the post. the only option I have is a label-less returns through Hermes. Poor show all round.
