We have a split king sleep number and we were tired of the gap. I have a pretty plush topper on mine, and my husband sleeps on his side without one. We kept our individual sheets on, put this thing on nice and tight, then put a king sheet over it. I noticed if it was too tight, you could feel the tension under the sheets, especially on my side where it’s much softer. Once we loosened the straps, it was able to sink with my body and I don’t feel the fabric under the sheet anymore. The best part is that we have no gap! We used to push our beds together literally every night, and my topper would also slide off to one side. Since we put this on, I haven’t had to adjust my topper because it keeps that in place, too. I saw other people say that the fabric was cheap and wears out. We’ve only had it for a few weeks, so I can’t speak to that, but I find it comfortable (I don’t notice it), and it definitely keeps the beds together. I recommend giving it a try. And if it does degrade over time, I’m sure we would have no problem buying another one at the price point.

This bed binder should come automatically with every split king motion bed. The first couple months of our new bed were difficult. Sliding into the crack, not being able to sleep next to your partner, the mattresses working themselves apart, and “activities” that became very awkward. THIS BED BINDER IS AWESOME. It took us about 3 minutes to install and it works perfectly. A couple of hints: I was glad I read not to pull it too tight. Don’t scrunch the sides of your mattress. It isn’t necessary. We put it in the middle of the mattresses. Raising the foot up makes it easy to slide under the mattress. (Do not go under the mechanical bed part. Just under the mattress.) Make sure you have the connection pad totally flat. The twin XL sheets go right over the bed binder. I worried they would be awkward where the binder connects the two mattresses, but they are fine. We also do not feel the binder under the sheets. It does have plastic connectors but they are fine, not flimsy as some reviews reported. THIS PRODUCT IS THE ANSWER TO THE CRACK. LOL

Better than expected. The binder is more of a quilted mattress cover type of material and comes with a plush blindfold for sleeping. The packaging is quite fancy. It is wider than I thought it would be. I have a Sleep Number split king. I thought I would two of these binders to hold these air mattresses together, but one seems to be enough. It was difficult to install on these mattresses because they are held in place with magnets, but I prevailed. I've only slept one night with this, so only 4 stars. Happy so far.

So, the product does work, however for us it didn't. Could be that we have foam mattresses...? When I layed down after getting it attached, it immediately bunched up and got crinkled. Maybe if I had a firmer mattress it would work better. That being said it was pretty easy to put on, and the straps stayed on tight while no one was on it, but I expect it to still work after I lay down, and it doesn't. I think if it covered more surface area as well it would work better. It keeps the mattresses together, but there's still a gap on either side of the binder so it's like it's not even there in the first place. I wanted to like it, but I just don't.

Nice in concept but doesn't keep the beds together. It also doesn't stay buckled. The straps barely fit through the buckle. If it had a buckle that snaps into each other, it would have a fighting chance to work.

I was pretty hesitant to purchase this for our split king (two Twin XL mattresses on separate adjustable bases--both head and feet) given some of the reviews. I agree that the overall product seems pretty cheaply made for the price but so far so good. Process I took: * I placed our individual mattress covers and individual Twin XL sheets on after placing the straps in place underneath. *Clasped the band over the top of the two mattresses and cinched. *Then placed a very deep pocketed King sheet with a considerable band around the edge (these sheets are awesome) over everything. It's working out perfectly. The mattresses haven't budged and we can still utilize the adjustable bases just fine even with the King sheet over it all. I do think having a sheet with extra deep pockets was a must but our mattresses are also thick with a euro top. We'll see how long the plastic clasps last when it's time to clean all of the sheets.

Doesn’t keep bed from splitting and bunches/wrinkles under the sheet at your legs. Very annoying. Also clip unclamps often. Had such high hopes. Past return window.

Takes a bit of fitting in a confined space but it does the job. I added a strap.that goes right round the two mattresses to keep them together making two little singles in our static caravan into one small double but this is my 'just to be sure policy.' I also strapped the metal single bunks together.

It would be great to have a wider binder. I ended up buying another cheaper one so that I could have it across more of the mattress. I use this one on the top end of the bed as it is thicker
