Somebody wrote don't use the screws how do you attach them then? Why not the use the screws?

The screw holding dosen't last long in plastic... Could not use bolts because no access to put nuts on. I used the pop rivits amazon sells for attaching the handles and what ever to plastic. Worked well...

can i loop this through a hole instead of mounting?

I don't want to screw more holes in the kayak. However the handles do not hav e a long enough rope to be able to use them on my Pelican kayaks even though they were advertised under Pelican accessories. I need handles with longer rope. Can you help?
