I’m a licensed stylist-and I’ve used SOO many of these..I have long, thick, wavy hair-and it can be a pain with tangles. I’m having to have surgery on my hand so I won’t be able to do my own hair-this works AMAZING. leave in conditioners help, but they don’t coat every strand evenly, especially if hair is very thick. Even healthy hair has a cuticle layer -a bunch of tiny scales that overlap like shingles. If the cuticle isn’t perfectly smooth, hair strands can cling to each other and tangle. This smooths that out. When applied to wet hair, the formula deposits ultra‑fine conditioning molecules that fill in and smooth the cuticle, making the surface more even. It’s lightweight-so it doesn’t feel heavy. My daughter is able to comb through my hair without massive tangles-or spending 20–30 minutes trying to comb it out.

(I have tips further down in my review for anyone needing help!) My hair is super, super damaged after a little bit of a bleaching incident on top of years of bleaching and dyeing, and I have naturally curly, ethnic hair to boot, so it's always begging for moisture and conditioning. I'd tried (almost) everything I could at home, but nothing made even a slight improvement, even when I felt I was doing everything "right". After I started using this treatment, I did not see results right away, and I wondered if my hair was just too damaged to fix at this point. However, after about two months of use (I wash my hair about 1x/week, so about 6-8 uses) I saw a sudden, drastic improvement! It was shiny, no longer felt as "hay-like", it even has a lot more flexibility and bounce even when I use heat styling tools! It feels better than it has since I was a kid! I will say, if your hair is thirsty, I don't feel this *adds* moisture, but I do think it helps repair damage so the moisture you add with conditioners doesn't immediately get sucked out, so keep that in mind. Here are some tips, at least as far as what helped me: - It says to make sure your hair is clean before using it. I condition my hair more often than I wash it, but I only noticed a difference after washing, so definitely follow those instructions; only apply this to clean hair without any other product. - It also says you may use another conditioner after using the rinse "if needed". If you have dry and/or curly hair, you NEED to use conditioner after this. It was a game changer. - I had a hard time figuring out exactly how to evenly apply an entire dose in 8 seconds and always under-dosed. What worked best for me is not to worry about the dosing so much and instead do this: After washing your hair, GENTLY wring out about half of the water in your hair, then go in small sections. Dispense a coin size amount (really doesn't matter what coin lol) into your palm and work from one side of your head to the other. I like to start with my top layers, rinse, do the bottom layers, rinse, and then go back over all my ends and anything with extra damage. If you have really long hair you might want to bring some hair ties with you. - I'm going to reiterate this one because it helped the most: don't be afraid to RINSE and REAPPLY! Don't try to just leave it on longer, it doesn't work very well that way. - Let your hair dry at least 75% before trying to apply any other products after this one. I also tend to towel dry until it's no longer dripping, then I use one of my satin bonnets to keep it from drying too fast. I also recommend using leave-in conditioner in addition if your hair is suffering too! I hope this review helps some folks! All in all, this is an awesome, awesome product and if you use it right it will almost definitely help!

I did not know what to expect when I purchased this, but I was really happy with the results. I didn't notice that much more shine to my hair, but it did wonders for the softness of it. I have thick, dry hair that is bleached to death. This made it so easy to comb through in a way I'd never experienced before. The bottle lasted about six uses, which was more than I expected give how much hair I have. It is a must try.

Okay, so I've actually read up on this product quite a few times over the past few months but couldn't pull the trigger despite so many positive reviews. But my opportunity finally arrived during Amazon's Prime Day Sale. Since I was finally able to buy the blow-dryer/brush in one I've wanted for like a year, I reasoned that it's would also be the perfect time to try a product that should make my fine, color tested hair look and feel silky and salon worthy WITHOUT weighing it down (plus it was also on sale for Prime Day) Not that it's an expensive product at its full retail price (unless you have long, thick hair that requires a lot of product per use) To make sure I was reporting on the Results of this particular product only, I changed up my hair care routine the first time I used it. I followed the directions, I used my go to Matrix Amplify Volume Shampoo, then I applied this directly to head then through lengths until hair was sufficiently soaked with product... As stated on bottle, you do get the nicest rush of heat over Scalp and through hair as product activates. I made sure I massaged it through from roots to end thoroughly before rinsing out ( I didn't use a stopwatch but it took about 8-10 seconds before I rinsed) them I applied my conditioner as I usually do (same brand and type as shampoo). The difference is, instead of using a high end leave in conditioner/mask such as Its A 10 or Briogeo Don't Despair, Repair which on their own would have eliminated enough frizz and created enough softness without the Wonder Water, I used a lighter Detangler (Not Your Mother's Royal Honey and Desert Melon) and I also I usually apply either a small amount of OGX oil treatment or the IGK Hydrating Hair Balm to mid length and ends of my hair but I skipped this step as well... Honestly I could tell right after finding this product out of my hair that it was going to perform as promised. I did go about applying my usual hair styling products for volume, hold and heat protection then I blow dried my hair... And WOW!!!! I always believed it would make a difference M, but I didn't expect such a huge impact (in a positive way). Once my hair was dried, it literally looked like it could appear on a magazine ad. It looked so healthy, smooth, silky, bouncy and felt the same way to the touch. And most importantly to me, it did not weigh down my thin, fine hair in the slightest. Also, I guess because my hair is fine and only just part my shoulders, when I looked at the bottle I was pleased to see that it only took half of the directed dose for my hair to get these results. It recommends using 2-3 times a week. I have to wash my hair every other day or no amount of Dry Shampoo will help with the oily looking strands, but I've been using it twice a week M, sometimes only once a week and it's sufficient. I can see how a person who needs much more product per use may not find this budget friendly since it would take only a few uses to empty a while bottle, but for me it is worth the price to continue purchasing so that I never run out. It makes my hair look that much better. MIRACLE Water is the perfect name for this bottle of magic!

Smells weird and the hair is soft but I’m not sure if I would re purchase

I like this product. It seems to remove excess shampoo from the hair that didn’t rinse out. It also relaxes naturally curly hair somewhat, preventing frizz without drying the hair.
