I had forgotten what my blood type is and used this kit to remind myself, and the result was as expected. The lancet hurts a tiny bit but it's so quick that it's over with before you know it. It's easy to use, I had no problem getting the result, no snafus with the process. The results were very clear and easy to interpret.

Works just how it should. I bought three packs for fear of messing it up. Which I was right to do. First of all, I know my blood type but wanted to know my Husband's for if there ever is an emergency where he needs blood. I ended up breaking the needle from the first pack, so I used a sewing needle to puncture my finger to still use the card. So I tried using the little cups to put the blood on the card but I feel like that obstructed the results as not enough blood got on the card. So I pitched that card and tried again. For the second pack, I didn't break the needle so I used a different finger, and squeezed a drop of blood directly onto each of the circles and used the little cups to mix it around. Doing that, I got the results on the top card pictured. I knew I was A+ so when I got those results I knew I had it right this time. I did the same as I did with the second pack with the third pack for my husband and got the results on the bottom card pictured for him. So now we know we are both A+ blood types! I don't recommend using the little cups to put blood on the card as I didn't get enough blood onto the circles... but that could also be because I used a sewing needle due to my breaking the sterile needle provided from the first pack. As long as you follow directions, you should get a good result.

I don't care so much about the nutrition lessons from this. I just wanted to know for myself and my family what blood types we have if the need to know ever came up. This was simple, crazy fast, and easy to read. Blood sample clumps it's not compatible (why a wrong blood transfusion will kill you, didn't know till I seen the clumping! Lol), if it blends it a match. Crazy simple. 👍👍👍

The plastic part around the lancet was broken when I opened the box, making it near impossible to use. I had to pry open/break the plastic casing and manually prick my finger. Read the directions carefully before use and keep them handy during use as well. It comes with a diagram to help understand your results, but I personally needed someone else’s opinion as I found it somewhat difficult to read.

The kit worked great! My blood was O+. I ordered two more tests for my parents to try too! Instructions were easy to understand and the test was easily self-administered. Recently, I did request my doctor to order me a Blood Type test through Quest Diagnostics to really confirm I was O+, and it did confirm it! So the this product was accurate. It is a bit pricey though, I expected this to be $10 but $15 won't hurt if you really wanna know (and I recommend for you to know your blood type!). Overall - fantastic product, bit pricey!

IF IT CUTS IT BLEEDS - was super excited to receive 2 of this item to determine my and my husbands blood type so we could eat accordingly. Product arrived - well, not what I expected - for a premium product coming from the Dr himself's company it was shotty - consider a zip lock bag with the items inside - the lancet that cuts your finger didn't work as it broke for my husband so I had to literally slice his finger with a kitchen knife - our new Cutco knife and there was plenty of blood for the procedure - for me, the lancet hardly worked - there was so little blood I could hardly do the test - idea is great - but next i see my doctor I will have them do a real blood test - Don't waste your money friends - this product doesn't cut like you need it

Is it just me - or is it difficult to feel confident of accurate reading of the home kits. Originally I ordered 5 of these kits to use on different people. Due to vague results I used up 4 kits on me. My first result clearly indicated Type AB 2nd & 3rd results were both vague. While the 4th clearly indicated maybe Type A. It was only after I donated blood to the AMERICAN RED CROSS did I finally feel confidant to say I’m TYPE A THE FIFTH KIT......? I Used it to Helped a friend determine their blood type - vague result again. Finally only today they finally donated to the Red Cross. Result takes 3-4 days. So we wait. My friend is ready to follow BTD. I think my friend is Type B. Based on personality traits. The person who introduced me to BTD sent me personality description of Type A - because to him I fit that profile - upon reading it I was floored to its accuracy. I can not recommend the Test Kits at all.

Accurate and easy to use , the science or thinking behind the diet. No chicken in my diet according to his plan and I noticed I did not get sick when starting another workout plan which I usually add more chicken for good protien but after 3 weeks I always end up sick. Exersize taxes our immune system and for my blood type chicken throws it out of coordination. So far I have great results

Worth watch the video prior to the test but instructions are pretty clear and easy. Was not looking forward to the pricking part but completely painless... Had forgotten I'm hemo and bled all over. But results were straight forward... Will buy an other as we know not a child blood type... They informed me at hospital that you have to be a mind reader that the test isn't provided unless you ask for it...10$.... At departure. But had no problem pricking his foot for other congenital unnecessary ones though... Went to his rescue in the middle of the night, the nurse telling me it's not painful in front of the crying baby bleeding heel! Just glad I will be able to do it myself for him! No pain

One lance didn't work but there was a second lance provided, and boy did it draw blood. Took a bit to clean up afterwards. The how to use video was helpful and everything worked as illustrated clearly showing my blood type.
