PACASB8511 Self-Adhesive Dry Erase Sheets, White, 8-1/2" x 11", 30 Sheets

What a great idea! No more throwing away all the name tents after an event. No more paper name tents that collapse to a sad piece of paper on the table. These work great and cut out the cost of using stock paper and the time it takes to neatly crease them in half. I have reused these over and over. Using erasable ink markers they come completely clean. They are like a mini paper wipe board. They are sturdy and hold their shape. Big enough to see what is written on them. The only problem I have had is that people assume they are "regular paper" name tents and write on them with their ballpoint pen before I get the chance to tell them to use the marker!

I jot down a lot of notes and found my desk was often cluttered with old envelopes and scraps of paper. Most of the notes were necessary at the time, but not permanent, so I bought cheap dry-erase boards at Walmart - the sort designed for lockers, but they are bulky and I had to rip the magnets from the back. I needed an entire magazine box for just a few note boards. These dry-erase sheets and a clipboard take up far less room and I can have several notes at a time without the bulk of boards and without the piles of note-laden garbage. If I need to keep a note long-term, I simply take a picture of it with my phone before erasing. These sheets wipe clean easily over and over again. I can't speak to the adhesive as it is not a feature I need at this point and haven't used. Teachers often buy lapboards for their classrooms, which are essentially the same dry erase boards I was buying at Walmart but without the magnets. I believe these adhered to inexpensive clipboards would be far more durable, potentially cheaper, and would require less storage space.

These are a great way to save on paper tent cards! I used them every other week at my job where I conducted new hire orientation. Obviously, having folks write their names on these and putting them in front of themselves was a huge help for me when the groups were large. Saved on paper, which makes these eco-friendly. Just make sure you provide users with dry erase markers if you want to be able use these more than once. At the end of each orientation, I would simply wipe them clean with a dry erase marker eraser. They always wiped clean with no staining or difficulty in removing the writing. I would highly recommend using these if you are currently using card stock or paper often to create paper name tents.

Applied these to the back covers of binders, so that I can draw out some visuals, etc. while in meetings. Need to wipe off the writings when finished (so that the erasable markings don't rub off onto other objects when packing things up), but that is to be expected. I like not having to use paper for something temporary. Handy, portable way to communicate visually. 30 sheets will last a lifetime and can be shared with others... Much more cost-effective to buy this quantity via Prime than buy a pack of 5 or 10 at a place like Staples. Also great for travel... Last month I attached 3 to a wall in my hotel room (while at a weeklong seminar), and used them for my to-do lists, etc. They pull off easily without damaging the wall. I'm a visual person and use the larger ones (same brand, also from amazon) in my home office. The wall-sized sheets are great for brainstorming, etc. Can be easily cut to size with scissors. Store well. Great product that helps my thought process!

These are AWESOME! My first classroom didn't have dry erase boards for my students, only clipboards. To conserve space, I used a corner puncher to round the corners and placed these sheets on the BACKS of the clipboards. It saves space by only having one item to store instead of two and are also very functional because they allow my students to flip it over to write out their work on the dry erase side if they need to for a problem on a worksheet. I'm giving these 4/5 stars because... CONS: -they do peel up on the edges over time since they're repositionable -they scratch pretty easily when the clips at the top of another clipboard hits the dry erase sheet, leaving a black mark that can't be fixed PROS: -easy to apply -erase well (with black, some colored dry erase markers require a spray to remove fully) -less items to store in the classroom -can also be used on walls, sides of furniture, on top of a blackboard, on a door, etc. -pretty durable overall -repositionable DUE TO THE SCRATCHING ISSUE: I only store my clipboards back-to-back so that they dry erase sheets are protected. I purchased the rack from Really Good Stuff that holds 24 clipboards for me when they're back-to-back [...]for about $40. I do store an extra clipboard in one of the slots (so that I can have 25, one for each student, there's just 3 in a slot instead of the normal 2). You can also purchase clip boards that are already dry-erase WITH the stand for about $80 [...], which would be great if you don't already own clipboards because a dozen clipboards with the dry erase sheets will end up being about the $3 each you would spend to buy them from Really Good Stuff anyways and then you won't have to worry about the scratching or peeling issue of using the clipboards with the dry erase sheets. *I don't receive any commission or anything, I just thought I'd share my tips with fellow professionals. Very Big, so just cut in half for my students. The whiteboard pen stays on when needed and yet is really easy to remove with just a dry tissue. Excellent product. Just didn't need 50!! But good price and will last me for ages!!

Exactly what I wanted. Pop up name tags to place on computers without damaging anything. Easy to wipe off and store.
