Usually a medium to large, what size should i go for

When it comes to coats My son is 6ft 1 he has a medium because he wears his coat taylored fit. I have a large as although I am slightly shorter I tend to go for a large as might want to wear something with some bulk. Looking at the style I'd bropable opt for medium.

Is the size "medium" adults or kids sizes?

Pretty sure its adult. Kids sizes are expressed as an age on this product.
