Very Cool Product
The tooth is exactly as described and as shown in the photo. (Note that the ruler in the product photo is in centimeters, not inches. 2.5 centimeters = 1 inch.) My only concern is that the tooth is fairly brittle. Small, sand-like grains flaked away when I handled the tooth. I'm considering putting some sort of clear sealant on the tooth to protect it, but I'm worried that might make the tooth look fake. Bottom line: Great for display. It's very cool to hold a tooth that is over 60 million years old. But the tooth probably shouldn't be handled much.

Tooth had been broken in half and glued back together. Other than that, good product for the price!
I bought this as an early Christmas gift. It's pretty freaking cool and comes with a certificate of authenticity and a little plastic display case. My only reason for not giving 5 stars is that you can tell the tooth I received had been broken in half and glued back together. I guess for 95 million years old and such a cheap price, that's not too shabby! But it did disappoint me a bit.

Excellent
Smaller then I thought but really cool gift for my 5 year old. Sheโs thrilled to have a real piece of a dinosaur.

Packaged poorly can't hold tooth
For the size of a Mosasaurus. I would of thought the tooth to be bigger. But regardless my grandson loved it. But he wanted to see the tooth and hold it. The tooth was glued in a plastic case and the authenticity was wrote on the packaging. So when he ripped open the package the authenticity wasn't in very good shape. Like most kids he wanted to check out and hold the tooth. When he opened the case the tooth was glued in the case but he grabbed it and pulled. The tooth broke in half. Very upsetting. I would not recommend for any children or anyone that wants to feel if it's real. The packaging is done poorly and they don't replace or offer refunds.

YES these are authentic - mine came in great condition
Those that say they doubt they are authentic have no idea what they are talking about. I am a collector, and it is obvious this is the real deal. The fact that they sometimes come cracked or broken is a pretty good clue it's real. If it was fake it would easily break. For this price I would order 3 just to get one that wasn't broken and would feel good about it. Mine came in flawless.

Item size NOT SIMILAR to picture, the pkg the item supposed to come in: NOT like STATED AND PICTURED
The product is about a third the size as the one shown in the picture. Additionally the product was said to come in a display case, a protective plastic shaped case with a description on it and it's certificate of authenticity. Item FAR smaller than the picture,NOT in the protective case AS PICTURED IN AD with its photo and description and certificate... Instead we received a postcard from the place which give some info.....and a very small loose tooth

Amazing!!
This little bone has caused more arguments in my home than any other present. I bought this for my oldest because I knew she would take care of it and the certificate of authenticity made all of her friends jealous. My other children were in absolute awe. It is one thing to watch dinosaur movies and such, but to touch a part of history was priceless. Absolute necessity in any dinosaur fan's home.
