Oh my gosh!! Like autumn in a bottle, it manages to encapsulate the cinnamon bun smell well and the spice of cinnamon with an undertone of frosting is spot on. I’m yet to use as shampoo but in the bath it gives plenty of bubbles and a nice lingering scent and as a shower gel (personally I use a loofa) it foams up a ton and leaves me feeling super clean and my skin smelling nice for a good amount of time somewhat hydrating but I more would recommend if you’re purely looking for a yummy scent!

Ok so if you into decadent vanilla warm scent this is a really good one in my opinion. Better as a shower gel. Bath not too much (if you like bubbles that is). The smell is not artificial but warm with depth however there are times when I don't always notice it whilst showering so if you into strong scents this can be mild for you. A star is taken because it is so thick and gooey that I struggle to squeeze it out! And if you're in a rush or just not in the mood or your motor hand skills are not the best at the moment I will complain about that already. What's great is it doesn't dry skin. It lasts and lasts and lasts. It is gentle and soft. I will not repurchase just yet as it lasted me many many weeks so need a small change! A brilliant gift for young nieces and people under 20 should really adore it unconditionally in ny opinion. However if you are fussy and don't like thick gooey textures it might annoy you or someone you might buy it for. Overall it is a charming charming shower gel. Can't compare it to other Philosophy products as this was my first one but it made a good impression as it was economical value, gentle and smell is not quote artificial in my opinion.

I’m not one for spending money on shower gels or products like that. However, this shower gel is amazing value for how gorgeous and lush it is, and also how long-lasting it is. One bottle lasts me about 4 months, give or take! It smells exactly like cake, and it lathers excellently. It’s very good quality, and adds a nice sense of luxury to my showers. 10/10, would recommend!

Purchased this, as an alternative to Sol de Janeiro body washes. Purchased the Vanilla Birthday Cake and it barely has a smell. Once opened & lathered on skin it only has a slight smell. I was very disappointed for the price and its scent does not last on the skin. On a positive note, it lathers well, however I will not be purchasing again! Very expensive for what it is.

Let me first clarify that the scent of this vanilla shower gel/shampoo is identical to Palmolive's Milk & Honey. Exactly identical. The difference being that the latter has a sustained and prolonged smell after showering. And it is also considerably cheaper. Save your money. This is an overpriced concoction.
