Great affordable, non-toxic option
The ink in these pads isn't the best ever but they are definitely worth it for the money. I was teaching a toddler class and needed ink pads - but most of the non toxic ones were so expensive when buying like four or five pads! I went with these and didn't regret it. However, be aware that these pads are HUGE. As in, a toddler could put both hands on it at once (which they did, happily). That's not a negative, just something to note! I'd buy again.

The colors are nice and it works well with stamps for my preschooler
The colors are nice and it works well with stamps for my preschooler. It doesn't wash off of hands as easily as I would expect from something "washable", but it does eventually come off and so far has washed off of clothing easily when washed immediately following use.

Not washable
They do not wash out of clothes! I scrubbed and scrubbed and they stained my daughter’s outfit! The size is good but the ink isn’t vivid and it stains clothing.

Five Stars
My grandkids love the large ink pads, big enough to make hand prints as gifts for their parents.

Not big enough for adult hand prints
Fun for craft time with my 4 year old. The circles aren't big enough for adult hands though. So far, it has washed off of everything ok (hands, table, etc).

GARBAGE
DO NOT BUY THESE - THEY ARE GARBAGE. Any reviewer giving this above 1 star seriously has never used quality ink pads. Let me clarify that - ink pads in which the ink is not "watery" and "gloppy" and "sloppy" and "spotted" and "inconsistent" and "diluted" and just plain bad. I ordered these for my Kindergarten classroom. I've used Lakeshore ink pads many many times - they are 5 star quality. But I work for a Catholic school in a poverty area of Chicago and I have no classroom money to spend. But I needed ink. These were a good price -- but I got what I paid for. Crap. I'm angry because I dipped into my (low-pay) wallet to buy something for my classroom. I'm angry that these are so poor in quality that they are useless. My students' work is so messed up by these ink pads, I won't use them anymore. I should be given a refund. I tried to hang in there and just use them for about 2 months. Finally, today, after trying to make Christmas cards with them -- and all of the cards loosing like messy slop as a result of this ink -- I got rid of them. Now I have to spend more time and money to get better ink pads.

Great for Special Needs Kids
I love the size of these stamp pads. The larger areas allow for my students with fine motor issues to find success using stamps. I like the quality of the ink as well.
