This is Vomitory

This might as well be a Vomitory album, as it follows their progression from their last album. The song writing is straightforward and heavy. I gave it 4 stars as they didn't reinvent the wheel, but this is good death metal.From a recording standpoint it is a little different to my ears. Vomitory had a more American death metal style. This is kind of embracing the Swedeath thing. Guitar tone sounds similar to Paganizer to me.Either way though, want a crushing death metal album. You found it.

Perfect if you want to bang your F$&#@<? head

If you like brutal, old school death metal, you can't go wrong with Cut Up. I bought this Cd randomly, as I had never heard of it and Amazon recommended it based off of previous death metal purchases. I am certainly not disappointed! Great find!
