Does this melt if it gets hot?

I would assume you mean in the package. Probably. It is a stick and it is the consistency of lip balm when you apply it. So if it is in a hot environment it will probably melt. But it is an awesome product and I would buy it again.

It definitely helps prevent chafing. In turn if no chafing hopefully no itching.
