Source Audio Collider Stereo Delay+Reverb Pedal

After using it for more than a year with an electric guitar and a few synths in a home studio environment, I am happy with it, especially regarding the sound. I mainly use plate reverb and oil can delay--I don't bother with the programmable settings, though I've nominally check it out. I also have a Zoom CDR-70 Plus and enjoy it too, though I'm not crazy about the need for menu diving. The Collider requires less menu diving, or in my case, none at all.

Collider ,- Gives so much more than other multifunction boxes . It has a better sound thanks to the processing power it has . READ THE MANAL - , then read it again ,Download the Neuro Desktop app. There are options that will help you create the sounds and understand how to save them . Alto music, the seller has been great to deal with and Source audio is quick to answer questions . Some of the factory pre sets are overwhelmingly too much , remember you can tone it down to your liking and soon you'll have what your looking for. In the Neuro Desktop app. you can see the setting knobs so if you need ,you can see where the knobs were turned /watch them move when you are connected to collider . Its new , it will be different , it's part of the adventure

I was using the SA Nemesis before purchasing the Collider. I love the Nemesis but I don’t really get too crazy with delay sounds. This Collider has all the modes I would ever use on the Nemesis but with the added bonus of having reverb. The reverb side also has any mode that I would ever use. However, don’t be fooled, even though the Collider is two simplified Delay and Reverb pedal combined into one pedal, there is still plenty of ‘other worldly’ sounds to be had with this pedal. The delays and reverbs sound as good as all of the industries other top tier delay and reverbs. I MIDI switch this pedal with a RJM PBC6x and setup was super easy and works perfect.

built well, great sounds. i love the fact you can swap/stack/route delays&reverbs as you wish. the collider replaced two TC pedals (HOF2+FB) without taking much space. it's great to have the settings all laid out on the user interface, (unlike toneprints) the desktop app is great, i wish the phone app could work with USB OTG and not via audio. the preset switching is not that great, so i connected it to an external footswitch

I love the versatility that this pedal offers and that it includes delay and reverb in one small package. It does more than enough in both of those categories for me, and since delay in reverb in my opinion go right next to each other on a pedal board, it's very convenient to have it included in one pedal. The amount of presets you can have are nice, giving me multiple options for delay length without having to bend over and adjust knobs. It has a tap tempo which is very important for me, and it has a permanent hold button for reverb which I also greatly enjoy. All in all this pedal is exactly what I wanted, and now I'm set on delay and reverb for the foreseeable future.

If you want a complex pedal that needs to be re-configured every time you use it then this is for you. While it sounds great and takes up much less space than a delay and reverb, it will drive you mad as you spend hours tweaking it and find that (once you save that perfect setting) your settings are gone the next time you use it. Granted, maybe I have a faulty item? Either way, I'm sending this back. It is a shame because the pedal actually DOES sound great once it's tweaked. If you're buying this to use in a recording setting I'd say maybe still go for it but if you are using it as a pedal in any sort of scenario where you need it to be reliable forget about it.

Une merveille Delay/Reverb

Llegó en tiempo, inclusive un día antes de lo esperado. Falta el cable para conexión con la app Neuro Mobile. El adaptador de alimentación es de otra marca (ElectroHarmonics) aunque parece funcionar correctamente. El paquete en sí estaba abierto y manipulado (sospecho en la aduana).

echt schade.... hatte mir gedacht für den Preis kriege ich ein neues Produkt, aber sowohl die Verpackung als auch das Produkt sind gebraucht....
