Lesaffre Yeast Instant, 16 Ounce

Great price. The yeast works great, I take out a few ounces to keep in the fridge and bag and seal the remainder in the freezer. The yeast keeps a long time this way. This is a lot of yeast for the money and it has never failed to perform.

I've always had good luck with this instant yeast and this latest bag was no different. While I don't bake a lot, I do on occasion and liked to use instant yeast. Using this created a good quality bun, the dough rises well, it is straight forward to use, and you can make a lot of dough with this amount of yeast. It's my go to recommended yeast. I vacuum seal the bag in between uses to keep it fresh for as long as possible.

I’ve been making bread for a little over a year and somehow I just started to use this brand of instant yeast and I don’t think I’ll ever use another again. I felt as though I always achieved a good rise with this brand which hasn’t always happened in the past. Given I’m still practicing, but this one has worked every time I bake

I do a lot of baking, and this instant yeast makes it easy to produce quality breads. If you are new to using yeast, I suggest storing it in an airtight container in the freezer for an extended life.

We cook/bake a lot in our house. This is a staple in our pantry we have to buy a lot. It's great for your yeast like foods, pizza dough, breads, etc. Never had an issue while using this as long as you use it correctly.

Only yeast I buy now! Lasts such a long time. I bake bread weekly and still never run out before expiration! Never had an issue with it dying like other brands!

This yeast came dead on arrival. It will not proof. I have tried multiple times to bake with it and the bread will always end up completely unleavened and flat.
