THESE ARE THE SIGHTS IVE BEEN LOOKING FOR W/A PRICE SO INEXPENSINVE IT SEEMS TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE BUT ITS NOT SO BUY SOME NOW!!
well made, well sized, and tightly sprung for quick aquisitioning them into action as well as replacing them back into their stealthy waiting to be used stance laying flat and out of harms way as well as out of my way but up or down these sights are the best fit for my AR/15 set-up with a see through riser placing my scope just above these sights so I can leave them up all the time but prefer to have them in the down position unless SHTF and they need to be in the ready! If you need a good set of back ups or just want a good decent priced well made sights then these are just the sights you want. I went through many sights all of which turned out to NOT be what I wanted and then I came across these sights by FIELD SPORT INC with their lock and spring action and was sold when I saw them but still being pessimistic waited until I recieved them and WOW was I right in buying this set of front/rear flip up spring assisted sights!! They have proved themselves on the range hold their zero and do not flip up when firing as I read in another review. If you over tighten them they will be slow to pop up and not lock back down into place accurately so only tighten until snug using lock-tite and they will be perfect!! I cant stress how well these sights are so all I can say is I buy a lot of stuff on Amazon and say its great when its great, goog when its good and crap is its crap and these are great!! Just remember to not over tighten the sights but snugly tighten using lock-tite to keep them set and you too will be amazed at how great a full set (front AND rear) of well made sights can be bought and sold so inexpensivley.I use the word inexpensive because these are not cheap they are inexpensive. Cheap means crappy get what you pay for kind of stuff but inexpensive means well made great product sold at an unbelievable price. I wish I knew how to upload pics of the sights on my AR/15 to this review so you can see what Im raving about and why you too should not wait to buy these but pull that trigger and get a set or two or three for your selves now!!!

Good for the price
If you are wanting a top shelf product, you are on the wrong page. If you are looking for a range toy set of backups in case you forget the batteries for your red dot, then you have found the right page. These are nice little sights that are working pretty good on my ar 15 5.56. seem to hold zero pretty well and pop up without a problem. A little bulky and not the most aesthetically appealing product so if you are super concerned with looks, find something else. As far as the use of this ar they are fine and I wouldn't mind having a few more of these as backups for a just in case. As I stated earlier, if you are looking for top line products, don't buy cheap and gripe about it later, know what you are getting into. These are great little sights for the price and do everything they are supposed to do with 2-300 rounds down the pipe. Gave 4 stars simply because of looks but functionality is just what I expected.

Inexpensive and effective
These little flip up sights are solid metal, and very positively lock in place both up and down. I found that mine didn't even need adjustment once installed, and were already exactly cowitnessed to my reflex sight at 25 yards for my pistol caliber carbine. The rear sight has both a large and small hole peep sight, while the front uses an AR style square post. Adjusting the front sight will require an AR front sight tool, but I didn't find that to be necessary. They're nice and compact and don't add too much bulk to the gun. I like that they use flush allen screws to mount rather than a big chunky finger screw, and when they're down, they're nicely out of the way. They do sit a bit high, so if you want to cowitness them to a smaller sight, you may need to use a riser, but otherwise they do what they're needed for quite nicely for their price.

Nice flip up sights at a very good price!
I ordered two sets of these to use on a pair of flattop AR15s I have until I can buy me a nice red dot sight for each rifle. Anyways, these are very decent sights at a very good price. Both pairs went on with no problem. Both secured firmly to my rails and flip up and lock and also press down and lock with no problems. With that said, are these as high of a quality as, lets say....Yankee Hill or Troy Industries sights? I would have to say most definitely not, but for the average everyday shooter these will work just fine. Plus they are WAY CHEAPER and for the price they cant be beat. If you are looking for a cheap set of flip up sights that will do the job then give these a shot. If you are looking for super high quality sights for a dirt cheap price then look elsewhere. You cant have your cake and eat it too!

Okay product for the price, but..
Pros:Made of metal not polymer so you can mount on picatinny gas block.Seemed to function decently well, although more lubrication would be beneficial.Cons:Front sight did not quite "make it" to 90 degrees when open, which was much more obvious when installed on the gun than just playing with it in my hand. Rear sight did assume a 90 degree angle when open.Neither sight lays flat at 180 degrees when closed. They both stuck up at a small angle (design needs tweaking).Finish had some defects/scratches/chips/whatever right out of the package. Most notably, it appears that the finish will "get beat up" every time the sight is opened (a little "stop notch" in the stationary part of the sight causes damage to the moving part of the sight). This was visible right out of the package.Ultimately I would use other BUIS instead. I returned this product.

Excellent quality flip up sights for AR15
I use these on my flat top AR15. The quality of these sights exceeded my expectations about 5 times over, for the price. After mounting these, they are SOLID, no moment what so ever. They stay down, and will not flip up unless you give a firm push of the button on the left side. They give a very powerful flip and lock themselves into position and stay there. They stay down and have not flipped up by accident. The rear sight needed a bit of adjustment, but they are easy to adjust with the turn knob out at the range or where ever, no special tool needed (the front post will need a nail or tool, though). If you are looking for an inexpensive back up/flip up style sight. I would go for these. You can't beat them for the price.

Broke before I could get to the range... Skip these.
So I saw a 704Tactical video on YouTube where he was recommending these, so I bought them. On arrival the back ups were decent quality (or so I thought) although I had to add a couple drops of lube on each sight as they were a bit stiff. Also the sights can sit a bit crooked so you have to loosen and re-tighten until they sit evenly. Not even 2 weeks after my purchase the rear sight just broke off when I flipped the sights up. I just put the sights on and it sat in my room. I didnโt take it out shooting, didnโt handle it roughly or anything to cause the break. Only thing I can think is it was cracked when I got it or I just got a bad one out of the batch. I contacted the seller, if I get a response and they fix this issue Iโll update this review. As of now I would recommend spending an extra $15-$20 and grabbing some metal sights.

Not bad for the price
When I took the sights out of the box, I had a little trouble making the rear sight flip up and retract. I had to undo the tension screw on the side and work it for a while until it started working. Tightened the screw and itโs been working fine.Sights were easy to install and snap open just as well as the ones on my SWAT M-4. They are not as top quality as some of the much more expensive ones, but for home defense, or โworking gunโ as I call mine, they will do just fine. The day I put them on, I zeroed them at 50yrds. I put about 200rds through the rifle and it held zero like a champ. Great back up sights and I would highly recommend them if youโre on a budget. Only thing I didnโt like about them is there are no indicators, left/right on rear sights and up/down on front, but you will figure it out. These sights were put on a real M-4/AR15, not airsoft, so time will tell if they hold zero, but looks good thus far.

Five Stars
Made in China but seems to be good quality. Good price and seem sturdy.

Decent cheap aluminium backup sights.
Front sight locks upright tightly, rear has some wiggle. Clicks seem positive, but arenโt super tight. Rear sight cannot be folded flat unless large apperture is selected. Chamfer on small aperture seems to be backwards, it faces you, when it should face away.
User
a good deal
Finally, something cheap that works as advertised. Rear is a little wonky as the small peep sits up when stowed but they do work and are cheap.

Four Stars
Good quality for the price. Good spring pressure on the sights.

Great design, poor quality materials and workmanship.
