It does fit, but the corner straps press into the power button and the volume button. As a result, I keep them offset to the left and right and it holds the iPad well without interfering with the buttons. There's a spot on the backside where I keep an Apple pencil, though it's not easily assessable and not sure what that slot is originally intended for. I disliked all the excessive branding so I cut off the tags. The aluminum clipboard comes with a strap, so it could be used on one leg with the iPad on the other, though the strap is a little short and may not fit people with larger quads. I feel that there is a lot of velcro that'll probably come undone the more I use this, but could be fixed with a needle and thread.
