Simple, fairly sturdy, magnetic kickstand effective
You get what you pay for which is a pretty good cheap case. Fits the Pixel 3a XL very well. The buttons aren't stiff, which is usually a problem but not here. The kickstand is great but it does weaken over time. I fiddle with it too much and end up breaking it (more my fault). The metal on the back works pretty well with magnetic phone holders, it's a bit small which is harder to use with some magnetic holders. The paint will also start falling off after a while. But you get what you pay for and I love it, so much that I have bought three of them. It's cheaper then buying an otterbox and they have protected my phone for years.

Lasted a few months
My phone cases don't last for the life of the phone but they get the job done. They protect my phone from drops! Liked the look of this one and it lasted a few months before the corners cracked and broke off, which meant I needed to order a new one.

I needed a good case but the only way to know for sure is to test it
This case looked pretty. But if there's anything my last five divorces have taught me, pretty doesn't mean lasting. I had to put this little beauty to the test. I bought a brand new Pixel 3-a XL and put it in the case. It fit like a glove and was ready for my series of product sturdiness tests. TEST #1 Standard vertical drop - I raised the phone to chest level and dropped it on my hardwood floor. The case protected my phone as advertised and also left a small crater in the floor. I was beginning to think this was all the evidence I needed to prove how sturdy the case was, but leaving a crater in the floor was something my ex Barbara used to do whenever I forgot a holiday, so I needed another test. TEST #2 Elevated Vertical drop - I took the phone to the top of my house and threw it at the concrete as hard as I could. I heard a CRASH and immediately assumed I had destroyed the phone. I pulled out my notepad ready to jot down notes for a 1-star review until I got off the roof and saw the phone was FINE! The crash was merely my kitchen window shattering when this super durable case made my phone ricochet off of PURE CONCRETE and bouche right through the window. I was pretty sold at this point. But could the case really be able to withstand hurricane-force winds like the description advertised? I needed to know. TEST #3 Hurricane - I drove to Florida just as the hurricane hit the shore. I didn't have a place to stay because my ex Megan and her new husband said I wasn't allowed to sleep on their couch (the nerve of some people!) So I just parked my car on the beach where I thought the most extreme impact of the hurricane would manifest. After about three hours of 60mph winds and rain that felt like large bullets pelting me and the phone, I lost just about all of my teeth. The phone, however, was still trucking! I threw the phone into the 12 foot swells just to make absolutely sure, and according to my phone finder app, the phone is STILL WORKING! It's somewhere near St. Croix now so I have to get it back, but I know even if it's not with me that this case really does make a phone totally indestructible!

Questioning "Military Grade"
My 3yr old defeated this case in less than 6 months. The rear ring stand broke off, the he cracked and chipped corners, wore the paint off, and separated the hard plastic from the rubber inner. HE was not intent to destroy the case or the phone, but he does love and coddle the device as often as we allow him to. Due to lack of options available for this device, available on amazon, we did repurchase. But he has not broken the screen yet, so I am left wondering about the quality of the case.

Great product
This is a great product for many reasons. I like military grade specs. Most cases I have bought I prefer this for protection and stuffiness. Other things like is metal kickstand that rotatess around. It is used with ring portion as a ring finger to hold to prevent phone drops. I like magnetic portion to put magnetic cicle for vehicle. I haven't got that portion yet but will be. I value and price are great value. Most cases do not have all these in one. Most durables cases are like $30 starting out. Plus you would spend more for magnetic for car or ring pop. Very pleased with working in technical field over 13 yrs

Shatterprone, not shatterproof
This is a fashion case, not a shatterproof one. Broke day one. I have previously only ever used Otterbox cases, but they stopped making the cases for my phone model. I was already skeptical of this case because it looked so thin, and I am prone to dropping my phone. I thought it would at least handle being dropped a few times before breaking, but the corner started peeling after the first drop, and has only been getting worse since then. Definitely not worth the money if you're as accident prone as me. Also the kickstand is nice, but it just reeks of numbered days. I'm not sure it's anchored properly to the case (there was tape over the mechanism inside the case that I didn't know until after I tore the tape off) and looks like it's going to fall off later once the rest of the case peels away from the base.
