Are the ropes supposed to be dissolvable? we've been using the aquacel ag advantage ropes and they seem sturdier than these on removal.

Sometimes they do and sometimes they don't. When I changed my husband's wound's once he started to heal they didn't dissolve as much as before.

Do these have an expiration date? Can I store them in case of emergency?

I store them. In a cool, dark closet for months. I haven’t had any problems.

How often do you replace?

Everytime I changed his bandages I put fresh ones on.

No. It slowly disintegrates with wound exudate and keeps wound site somewhat bacteria free with the silver. This is not a rope to wash in laundry. It is a one and done.
