Is the copper(?) insert removable? (can int be cleaned easily )

The pot is not removable. It is made out of steel and is titanium coated to prevent metal sticking to it. The easiest way of clearing the pot is turning it upside down while hot and give it a few light taps.

Since the starting temperature is 200 celsius, then it will certainly melt wax, as paraffin wax melts well below 100 celsius. If there are other types of wax, please check the melting point of the material and check it against this device. It is designed for low temperature metal and the knob moves from 200 to 450 celsius.

Can it be used to make bismuth crystals?

I am not sure what you mean. You can melt bismuth crystals, not 'make' them.

Can this be used to tinning rlectrical wire ?

Yes, I have done it many times successfully.
