Easy replacement overall. I just followed a YouTube video on how to remove the old rusty part, gave it a couple of whacks with a hammer, and the old one came right off. Installed the new part and now everything spins around properly again. Much better than fighting with the rusted old one.This was fairly easy to do by myself and only took about 5 minutes to install. Fit my 22" Weber perfectly and the replacement parts seem pretty solid and well made. Everything needed was included in the kit and all the parts arrived in good shape with no rust.The new hardware also cleaned up the overall appearance of the grill and made the ash sweeper work smoothly again. Nice simple upgrade that brought the grill back to life without much effort.

My Weber grill was a Christmas gift from my father in 1989, so now (May, 2025) it was time for some refurbishment, including the old One Touch cleaning \ vent system. I'm cheap, and I was also spending almost 70 bucks on a new grate, ash pan and wheels, so rather than drop another 25 on the Weber branded One Touch, I ordered this set for 10 bucks.I'm one of the lucky ones who received all three blades on the first try, so I think they've sorted out their packaging issues. These are a new style compared to my old ones - the old ones had a large hex shaped aluminum block that fit through the three arms and had to be lined up very carefully to get the angles right. This set is designed such that the arms will automatically be at the right angles, and was much easier to install than the old one was to remove. A suggestion - if your grill is not clean, slather it in oven cleaner and let it sit overnight, then either hit it with a pressure washer or wipe it clean, and the old parts will be a lot easier to remove. I still had to use a mallet.The "arms" in this set seem thicker than the old ones. I didn't measure them, and it could be because the old ones have been outside for over 35 years, but it was a bit harder to bend these to fit than it was to snap the old ones off. That's a good thing. Assembly was not difficult, but does require a little effort, and can be awkward if you have short arms. Once installed, they work perfectly, and seal the vents just fine. I'm tempted to buy a second set to keep as a spare, but I'm pretty sure this set will outlive me, so . . .

I have a Weber 22 kettle that I saved from the curb on trash day, over 15 years ago. It was already old when I found it. I use it for Thanksgiving Turkeys and sometimes steaks, burgers or a roast, but it sits outside neglected year after year. I decided to freshen it up recently so I cleaned it, painted it, and decided to finally replace the ash cleaning star fish thingy. I don't know that its ever worked for me. It was rusted out completely and seized. What I did to remove it, and I recommend, is I took my RotoZip tool with a metal cutter wheel on it and I cut a big X into it right in the middle, and then chiseled it a bit until it fell apart and out of the hole.Then I ordered this replacement piece. It's not as stout as the stock piece I don't think but it installed easy and it looks and works fantastic. It will be really great to have one that works. If it holds up for even 5 years at this price I'll be perfectly happy with it. I think it probably will.

The first order shipped without some parts. Sent an email and got a replacement within 2 days.The right price and a correct fit, it does not get any better than that.

Perfect fit on my old 22" Weber Performer. Why replace the whole grill when you can just replace what needs replacing? Installed in less than 10 minutes, easy peasy.

This unit fits in place of the old one.Super easy to install.Sometimes I used a screwdriver, and another time I used an angle grinder with cutting wheel.. but it’s not too hard to remove the old sweeps.I have 3 22 inch webers I have set up for different cooks and have change the sweeps on all of them at least once.
