Even though I have large pyrex measuring jugs because I'm (a) an old lady & (b) American, I use the heck out of this thing! I've started baking by weight so I use it to weigh-measure flours & other dry goods in addition to its intended use as a liquid measure. It pours like a DREAM, no drippy lips here (unlike most pyrex measures) & it's easy to read the lines as you fill the jug too. Plus it's just stinkin' adorable! Not usually a consideration for my kitchen tools but it's a nice feature, lol. Only drawback is that unlike the better Portmeirion stoneware, this is made in China so just ignore all those cutesy marketing photos of happy Welsh workers happily making Portmeirion. Not happy about that at all, wouldn't've bought this had I known & won't buy any more of the Sophie Conran products but the jug itself is well-designed & useful.

This came in a pretty decorative box like I bought from a boutique. I took it out of the box and instantly was in love with the design and quality! It’s is absolutely beautiful and so nice I could use it as a vase with flowers! I’m super happy with this purchase!

I absolutely LOVE this measuring cup!!! It is beautiful and functional. It matches any decor and offers a variety of measuring options that are clearly printed on the inside of the cup. This is one of my favorite Amazon purchases!! I highly recommend buying 2...1 for you and 1 for a friend! They make a great house warming gift!

There aren’t many things on Amazon that prompt me to leave a review anymore. Most things I order come in uninspired white boxes containing merely acceptable products and booklets with sentences written in what I can only describe as English-adjacent. Even as an editor and writer, I’m accepting of these mistakes because I do realize we live in a global marketplace. When I get something well-made, AND it comes in a gorgeous box, AND all the Is and Ts are not only dotted but also correctly placed, it stands out. (Oops, just noticed an extra comma on the box, but it still reads well!) Anyway, I expect this measuring pitcher to be used daily with my tea-making, and I have no doubt it will stand up to all the use it gets. Thank you!

Sometimes, not often, but sometimes, you stumble upon a tool that is so beautiful, so useful, you think to yourself, 'what if it got broken?' This measuring pitcher pours like a charm, has beautiful lines, a classic design and is microwaveable to boot. I bought one, fell in love, and have a backup coming, which will be tucked away in the attic. As Victorian textile designer William Morris said, "Have nothing inyour house that you do not know to be useful, or believe to be beautiful." Why not both?

Beautiful measuring cup. Nice quality. I didn’t read the fine print. It’s a 4 cup. And it’s very large. I wanted a 1 cup. But I will keep it because it’s so pretty.

Excellent measuring cup, use it to mix smoothie with a Kitchenaid cordless hand blender. Plus, the pouring spout is clean and quick, really great size.

Looks nice while not in use, markings are easy to read.

This item arrived today. My wife broke our previous one, and this was its replacement. She loved the previous one and this one is well loved also.

Perfect! It is really much too pretty to put away in a cupboard and I use it all the time. It is really easy to use the measuring scale.

Cuando mi taza medidora Portmeirion diseñada por Sophie Conran llegó tenía de visita una amiga, y al abrirla notamos al menos de nivel de detalle que ponen en sus productos pues venía en una caja color menta hermosamente empacada con papel en el mismo tono, resaltando la sutileza y simplicidad del producto, ¡quedamos encantadas!. Las líneas con las medidas que tiene por dentro así como la fuente usada le da un toque de fineza y antigüedad que te transporta. La taza medidora es muy funcional, la tengo a la mano pues la uso casi a diario, ya sea para medir líquidos para recetas, para mezclar cantidades pequeñas de líquidos, así como para servir directo de ella el agua a los gatos. Si la compras no te arrepentirás y la caja en la que viene sirve para guardar cosas pues es muy bonita también :)
