As a third-grade science teacher, I purchased this product to enhance my lessons, and it has been a hit with my students. It’s an excellent resource for teaching about weather and is highly engaging during its initial use. However, the only drawback is its limited longevity, it doesn’t last long and can develop mold fairly quickly. Despite this, it serves its purpose effectively for short-term educational demonstrations. Overall, a valuable teaching tool.

The students LOVE to play with this stuff! (And so do any adults that happen to walk into my classroom). It does feel so much like snow. I have no idea how, but it even feels cold, though not too cold to play with. The students’ favorite part is watching the powder swell up as the water is added. It goes through quite a change! I usually have to add more water each day and either add more insta snow powder every couple of days. A little goes a long way, so the bag will last for at least a couple of weeks in a classroom.

The students absolutely love this instant snow. There is a bit of a chemical odor but limited play doesn’t seem to be affecting anyone. I feels like real snow if you use the right amount of water and ice cold water. It also stretches a long time and lasts a long time.
