    Sturdy, but smells

The bracket is sturdy, and holds the switches in place well.  I haven't installed the bracket yet, but have had it sitting inside my large console.  This bracket reeks of chemicals.  I noticed it as soon as I pulled it out of the box, and figured it would dissipate over time.  It has been several months now, and every time I open the console I can instantly smell the chemical.  The console isn't exactly airtight, but still I'm hoping that I won't smell it any longer once I finally mount the switches.

Just installed the panel housing in the dash of my 2010 GMC truck and with the switches installed, the panel housing looks great..The housing has a very solid feel to it and not all wimpy.

It would be nice if it came with a cutout template, but I had no trouble in cutting out a nice hole in which the unit fit in perfectly.
