Make the investment, you won’t be disappointed !!
Perfect Jacket. I ordered out of season so I don’t have to rush when winter comes. This jacket is EXACTLY as described and advertised on carhartt’s website. The back and sleeves fit perfectly. No resistance when I wrap my arms or reach for something. For reference, I’m 5ft 6in and weigh 215lbs. The size guide was accurate and this will definitely keep me warm this winter. It’s stiff at first but it’s also the “washed duck active” so after some washes and wear it will start to have that vintage worn look and I can’t wait. The hood is a perfect size to block wind, the zipper quality is top notch. The jacket is durable all around.

I love mine
The Carhartt Men's Loose Fit Washed Duck Insulated Active Jacket is a rugged and reliable choice for anyone who needs a warm and durable jacket for work or outdoor activities. Its quality construction and functional design make it a top-notch investment. Pros: 1. Durable Material: The washed duck fabric is tough and built to withstand harsh conditions, making it ideal for outdoor work or rough environments. 2. Warm Insulation: The quilted lining provides excellent warmth without being too bulky, perfect for cold weather. 3. Comfortable Fit: The loose fit allows for easy movement and layering, making it practical for various activities. 4. Functional Design: Features a hood, rib-knit cuffs, and waistband to keep out the cold, plus deep pockets for added convenience. 5. Timeless Look: The classic Carhartt design combines functionality with a rugged style that never goes out of fashion. Cons: The jacket is heavy, which may not be ideal for those seeking a lightweight option. The loose fit might feel oversized for some; consider sizing down for a more tailored look. Overall ★★★★★ The Carhartt Men's Loose Fit Washed Duck Insulated Active Jacket is perfect for anyone who values durability, warmth, and classic style. It’s a go-to jacket for outdoor work, cold-weather adventures, or just braving winter comfortably. Highly recommended for hard workers and outdoor enthusiasts!

Carhartt
Such a great jacket! Ive worn this style in different sizes over the years as my weight has fluctuated and it’s always been my go to winter coat. I like how it’s not as heavy and bulky as some of the older Carhartt jacket styles and just as warm, if not warmer. For sizing I’m 265lbs and 6’2.5” and xl tall fits me perfectly in this.

When a man wear this turn into professional handsome guy like my husband.
My husband is 6' tall and 200 pounds. He has a stomachache. I ordered X-Large tall. It fits and covers stomach issues. It looks standard and is in good shape at the top of this jacket. High-quality is used for icy places in New York. Not for AZ weather. He will wear it when he visits his family. He looks like a cop. It is like mafia or cop style. He loved. He always wears large clothes, but still, his stomach pops out and looks funny. I had enough to search and found this brand that is good for my husband. I highly recommend. This brand has some for AZ weather jackets, but not many. He loved black color. And there are 3 pockets inside the jackets. It's a really nice jacket. When a man wears this, then turn into a handsome guy.

Just do it. Nice jacket. Durable and nice looking.
This thing is study. Picks up hair a bit too easy, but a quality jacket for the price. Full marks.

Looks Lightweight but Surprisingly Warm
This jacket is warmer than it looks. At first glance it looks pretty lightweight, but it actually keeps you really warm without feeling overly bulky. The quality is great and the material feels durable and well made. I especially like that you get the warmth of a heavier jacket without necessarily looking like you’re wearing one. Definitely a good combination of warmth, quality, and comfort.

Good luck wearing this in the cold by itself
The canvas-like material doesnt do much to keep your warm. 3M thinsulate is kind of a gimmick at this point. May work as a layering piece but was hoping the Carhartt reputation for quality would tie over to their more expensive pieces and found myself disappointed.

Great autumn/winter jacket
For over 20 years, I've been buying Carhartt WIP coats (WIP, or 'Work in Progress' is the European street wear company that has licensed the 'Carhartt' brand from the US workwear company since the mid 1990s), but the prices in the UK have increased so much recently (more so than in continental Europe e.g a £200 item costs only €199 (~£165)), and the designs are getting weirder and further from the workwear roots of the original brand. I used to like everything in their range and it all fitted well, but recently it's been quite hit or miss. So I thought I'd check out some US Carhartt, I got a sweatshirt that is great, but I've also had to return a t-shirt and a different jacket before because the sizing was huge. Therefore, I thought trying a different US Carhartt jacket would be a gamble based on my past experience and other reviews saying to size down. I'm only 5' 8" and 140 pounds, so sizing down is not an option. The small is definitely a loose fit as the label says, but that's not an issue for a winter jacket where you want to layer with a jumper or hoodie and maybe a scarf. The sleeves, whilst generous, are not too long (although I wouldn't want them longer) and will keep the cold out. The quality of the jacket is great and I like the classic, but updated style. I can definitely feel that this serious workwear that could be worn by a contractor in Michigan (it even has a special front pocket compartment for your carpenters pencil!), but the jacket also looks smart, so perfect for wearing on my commute or going out. The warmth level feels about right for the autumn and winter in the UK (a 3 out of 4 on Carhartt's warmth scale - bearing in mind we don't get -20℃ plus winters like the brand's main customers face!). The weight feels substantial, but not heavy or cumbersome. This jacket will replace my old Superdry jacket which was very comfortable, but was plagued by quality issues (stitching falling apart and a zip breaking). Given that this jacket is much better value than Carhartt WIP and way better quality than similarly priced Superdry (which has started a Carhartt-style 'surplus' range), I'll definitely be looking at more original Carhartt items for my wardrobe. Thanks to Amazon for making this excellent American brand more available in the Europe. As others have said, if you've been on the fence about getting a jacket from this brand, go for it, I highly recommend it - I'm so pleased with this jacket! I also hope the sizing info is useful for anyone similarly sized.

Great Value for the Money
I'm 6'3" and ordered XL Tall for my shoulders and arms, however that gave 2-3 inches of extra fabric around the waist that makes the jacket not look fitted like the thumbnail Carhart shows. I think below 250LB 6'3" guys should order TALL Large and above 250LB 6'3"+ guys should order XL Tall size. I'm very happy with quality - I did pay $10 and bought an spray to water proof it so water rolls off the fabric. I'm not in construction but I use the jacket for occasional ranching so for the price point and what it provides you can't go wrong. Hope it helps.

Perfect coat
Perfect size at 5’9" and 190 lbs. Can still fit a sweater under in fact I’m really happy to be able to do so since it’s not that warm (tested in Canadian winter at -10 C) but will be perfect to be wesring in Spring as well.
