It is true when it comes to hardware-you pretty much get what you pay for. That being said, this was an inexpensive throne. You are getting what you pay for. My review is this: The seat itself is large and thick and very comfortable. The metal is not the most heavy duty nor is the plastic turn knobs. It is however better than I expected overall for the price. So, I'm going to go very easy with this throne. Not throw it around or over tighten things and I believe it'll be well worth the price and them some. So far that is the case. Giving it 4 stars for it being what it should be and then some. Not really sure. The pad is firm, but comfortable. Stitching looks good. Whole thing took about 30 seconds to assemble. Legs are nice, locking hardware has large gripping areas for easy adjustments. All in all not bad. I did knock off a star for 2 reasons, first off, the legs are rivited together and they could have been a bit tighter. Secondly, if I don't tighten the seat down on the post completely it tends to wobble. Not a huge deal, I tightened it up. But, for someone that is 6 foot or taller it's too short for leg space. If for a child, it would be perfect and great priced.
