Is this scanner compatible with Mac and PC?

I don't know about Mac but it is compatible with PC.

I have this same scanner from years ago. Is it possible to install the software online or does it have to be with the cd disc?

The ADF holds up to 50 sheets. Maximum: A4 portrait (210 x 297mm), legal (8.5 x 14in.) (long document scanning: 216 x 863mm or 8.5 x 34in., or 210 x 3048mm or 8.4 x 121.92in.) Minimum: A8 (52 x 74mm or 2 x 3in.) Installation is pretty straightforward. Just install the drivers from the disk and use your scanning software of choice.
