Very useful and reliable plumbing camera
I used this inspection camera to check clogged and damaged pipes, and it worked great. The image quality is clear, even in dark areas, thanks to the built-in LED lights. The cable is long and flexible enough to reach difficult spots. It also records video and photos, which is helpful for reviewing issues later. Highly recommended for both DIY and professional use!

Worked great for home sewer line!
Having paid a plumbing company multiple times to clear the same sewer line I decided on a DIY approach on our 1957 built home. I pulled a toilet (that kept backing up), snaked the line and followed up with a camera inspection. The camera worked great and was easy to use once I figured out how to play out the camera line and reel it back in. I was able to inspect the entire run from the toilet to the clean out and found there was some type of wipe/pad/tissue debris still in the pipe after snaking and clearing the blockage. Using a garden hose to supply continuous water to the toilet line plus running water in the sink and bathtub I was able to flush things out. I suspected I might have roots entering the pipes and was going to purchase root treatment chemicals, but now I know there are none in the line based on camera inspection. I had tried to use the camera before snaking out the line but the camera view in dirty water really isn't informative. But this at least gave me an idea where the blockage was located. camera worked much better after the line was unblocked. I did not use or need the DVR but it is a nice feature to have. The image in the pipe was bright and clear. Doing this myself was a new adventure - I had never pulled a toilet and reinstalled. But doing this myself paid for the cost of this camera and more and I now have a new tool I can use in the future.

PVC drain camera clog
Of course you can only use this camera for 4” greater sewer drains due to the 90• wire bend caution that will harm the cable- what I like about this camera is its versatile and has everything attached e.g., all in one case I give this product 4 stars I’ve purchased 2 of them within one year!

Better then expected
Like:Used the camera twice since I bought it and still works. Was able to send it down the main sewage pipe twice about 80 feet and it worked amazing.Recorded the video and the quality was very good.Good lighting and colors. The monitor screen is very clear and easy to see.The cable was relatively easy to roll out and in from the cable drum. Make sure you do it properly or it could be a headache.Something to improve the item on:I wish the cable had markings in feet or metric. Made my own markings with a sharpie every 12 inches. (not a big deal)If the pipe has a little bump or a crack, the camera would get stuck even after using the red sponge. Was able to still get around after twisting the wire left and right.

Don't work properly
Not happy with this product at all the first time I used it it worked great I was like awesome this is going to do great. The 2nd time I pulled it out to use it said no SD card I pulled it out and put it back in still said the same thing I cut it off and back on finally after messing with it for maybe 20 to 30 minutes it started recording I got home from work that evening pulled the SD card out put it in my computer to watch the video it had frozen up at a minute into the video and nothing but a blue screen after that.... NOT HAPPY WITH THIS I wasted 4 hours of my day 1.5 hours to the job a hour at the job and 1.5 back for nothing

Replacement camera costs half the machine
Had this for about a year. Camera went bad and asked the seller to send link for a replacement and it was 180 before tax. I just ordered a whole new machine for the same price.

Worth every cent
This is my third camera I have purchased. I am using in a commercial sewer setting and have gotten dozens of uses out of each. The cost of one of these is the same as paying the going rate to have one sewer line camera'd. A Ridgid seesnake will run you over 10k and will have the same issues with wear and tear down the road. I have bought spare heads for these and when I kink the line I just buy another one. The 512hz locator head also works with a ridgid locator. Highly recommend this camera. 4" and 6" sewer lines and can push 100' no problem.
