I have a large dog who likes getting into the trash. Can the lid be pried open with his nose, or do you have to touch the button to open the lid?

If a dog is smart enough to lift the lid on a normal can, the same dog will likely figure out that pressing on the top briefly will open this one. He/she may appreciate that the lid stays open on its own while rummaging around for the tasty bits.

What are the dimensions?

13 gallon touch top - The lid is broken and I would like to replace it. The number on the lid is 30L (8 US gallons and 66 UK gallons ) Do I need to replace the whole lid? Please advise.
