I wish this was available with a USB-C connection on the straight end, but for what it is, it works for my needs.

The original cord I had kept bunching and bending causing connection issue. This fixed all.

Good speed, no complain. I use it for my macbook to mount 2 hdd. speed meets my expectation and not slowing my work flow, no disconnect issue like some cables.

I needed two cables so I purchased this set. I did receive two, but only one of them works. When I plugged in an OLD cable to the drive, it came to life immediately. The one from this Seadream 2 pack did not work. It powered the drive, but keep re-initializing it. I had already clipped the unnecessary loops from the side of the cable, so I guess i'm stuck with it. Edit: After I left the review, the second one failed. I ended up ordering two star-tech cables that actually work. The Seadream cables went into the trash.

Odd screw tabs on the USB 3 end, but I could easily snip them off. The cable is somewhat stiff, which may or may not be your preference, but it's hefty enough to carry rated current.

I specifically ordered these because the straight cables that come with external drives can create awkward spacing issues when trying to keep the drive safe. I've been trying to use these cables for a few weeks and they will appear to function just fine, no issues and then without jarring the table or moving a drive, the connection between your machine and your drive will drop. I'm pretty sure this is why I ended up returning a hard drive that was purchased at the same time. I thought the drive was bad. Today I noticed that folders were not opening without killing Win Explorer on my new laptop and sure enough, replacing these poor quality right angle cables with the originals is what fixed the issue instantaneously. They're not even long enough to turn into tie cables or anything so I'm stuck with these. I wouldn't even donate them.
