How do I stick to a gate?

Hello: The double sided tape we include is designed for smooth flat surfaces such as glass or metal. You can use foam mounting tape and it will stick to most rough surfaces such as brick, stucco, and wood. So the answer really depends on the what your gate is made of. If you would like to try it and test it, please do so. If the double sided tape does not hold up in your application after you test it, you can send us a message directly by "contacting seller" and we will send you double sided foam tape to you.

Do these stick on the outside of the door or the inside?

There is one push and one pull included in the package. You install them on the inside and the outside depending on the door swing.

Easy to crack

nice looking, but adhesive wasn't sufficient for my use, so pre drilled mounting holes, but screw still cracked it.
