Just snap it on. At first I didn't think it was working, but after a few minutes it suctioned down and was holding the pressure..

This release valve fit our Intertek power cooker perfectly. It was just like the original one. Ours broke because it is made of plastic and is a bad design. We were afraid we'd have to throw the whole thing away but this replacement did the trick.

I called to speak with a representative and regards to changing my payment methods because they locked out my car as a thought that it was not me and when I spoke with her over the phone she went ahead and push my order through as I was still viewing my car to order a steam release knob for my 8-quart power XL pressure cooker and I said hey you just process the order is this going to fit for my 8-quart because it says kicked in court on here oh you sure sure you'll be fine you'll be fine it'll work now I'm getting around to testing it out today and it is absolutely not sign it does not work for my power XL pressure cooker

Didn't fix my power cooker. Bought to replace the part on my power cooker. It was suppose to be compatible with the model that I have.
