Great mason jar lids. Leak proof, easier to open and close than the metal lids. Don’t rust. Fit very well, the large mouth, and clean well in the dish washer.

A well-made sturdy lid. Even though it’s plastic, you can feel the quality. They seal nicely and are leakproof. Don’t waste your money buying the knockoffs - these should last a long time.

I never thought I'd be excited about a jar lid, but this is 40. These things are amazing. Seals well, durable, dishwasher safe. Better for the casual ball jar user (overnight oats, salads, etc) than the metal lids. I am trying to drink more water in the morning so at night I fill a 24 oz ball jar then put on one of these lids. When I wake up I don't leave my room until I finish that water. The system is working.

Ball Leak-Proof plastic lids is saving us money. We use Ball jars for lunches, storing left overs, and storing produce. My husband uses Ball jars to carry his tea and juice to work. These plastic lids keep us from having to replace as many rings and tops because the plastic doesn’t rust. The lids fit on easily, are durable, and are thick enough to grip the top. The black color is a bit muted, but I like it.

I love using mason jars. They are especially useful for things I want to store for a long time. I also use them on a daily basis. The lids for canning are very airtight, but they are disposable. They are good for long-term storage. This BPA free plastic lid is the best lid I have found for storing things I want to use soon on a daily basis. I am trying to reduce plastic as much as possible. The plastic containers that I have been using conveniently are being replaced with mason jars and other glass jars when the time comes to buy new ones. This is because the properties of glass containers can be used cleanly and repeatedly for soups, ingredients, seasonings, fruits, etc. that are left over for one person. I use this one with a metal airtight lid and this one with BPA free plastic. I like the gray color. It can be used in the dishwasher. There are many different types of lids for mason jars, but I like this one because it is reasonably priced and made by a reliable manufacturer.

I have had these for years and keep rebuying them because they are the best lids for mason jars. They mostly are leak proof, you just have to make sure you close them tight. I would recommend.

I tried to save a few bucks and purchased some other, cheaper lids for my Ball jars. What a huge mistake. Those other lids sucked a$$, and let food go stale more quickly, evaporate more quickly, etc. These lids are the real deal. In a side-by-side comparison against other lids, these lids hold up. Easy to screw on and off, they form an airtight seal, and are easy to clean without any additional silicon parts or bs. Worth the slightly higher price than the myriad imitators out there.

There is no issue with the quality of the product. I ordered a wide mouth but received a regular mouth. I tried to order again, but unfortunately, wide mouth is no longer available.

I highly recommend these if you're using the ball mason jars for other purposes aside from canning and preserving food. They're leak proof, dishwasher-safe, sturdy, hardy and very very well-made. Wish there was an option to buy the jars with these leak-proof lids instead of the metal ones that rust and are not dishwasher-safe. Superb lids!
