Great movie!
My kids LOVE Fireman Sam! This movie is a lot of fun, well worth the watch for Fireman Sam fans. It did come in European format, though I thought it was in US format..but I was able to change the setting on my computer to watch it that way. That is my only gripe with it, but it works!

Great Family Entertainment!

UK & US DVD's not compatible.
The sender isn't the problem, they did everything right. I got the item promptly and in mint condition. I just wish I knew ahead of time that it wouldn't be compatible with my US DVD player. Maybe a disclaimer would be nice (?)

Fireman Sam at his best
Watched it (again) with my grandsons. They absolutely love it. A fun movie which teaches some excellent lessons to children.

Wrong region code!
I purchased this for my son, who was very excited to watch it. I put the DVD in, and the DVD player said something to the effect of, "sorry, can't play this because it's for the wrong region." Seriously? Why would you sell a DVD in the US if it's coded for the Europe? It says "Made in England" on it, so I assume that it is coded for Europe.

Does not play here in USA.Should have been obvious with a shipping to USA that I would need to be able to play it here. My grandson was disappointed

Eine wunderbare SAM-Geschichte. Fesselnd erzählt, Spannungsbogen geht nicht verloren. Handlung gut nachvollziehbar für die Kleinen. Meiner ist 4,5 Jahre alt. Ich halte nichts von Frühenglisch et cet. für Kleinkinder (bin Anglist). Aber GREAT FIRE kannten wir von der CD und ich fand nur die engl. Ausgabe. Dies hat das Sehvergnügen aber keinesfalls getrübt. My two elder boys didn't really get into Fireman Sam, my youngest can't get enough. This feature film is excellent, just the right length for young children and I quite enjoy sitting through it with my son. Great storyline, plenty of drama without being too upsetting, nice happy ending. Perfect! As someone who remembers the "old" Fireman Sam I might be in the minority but I think the new version is an improvement. The graphics are very good and the pace is much quicker, it's hilariously funny in places so the whole family ends up sitting watching it. Only the voices are a bit annoying, but you find yourself getting used to them. 5 stars!!

We've been watching a very poor copy recorded off the tv for the past few months and I decided enough is enough. It's so much better watching it on DVD especially as Fireman Sam has become a favourite with my two boys.

This DVD has been brilliant! It is a fabulous Fireman Sam story which lasts a whole hour and keeps my restless 23 month old and his 4 yr old brother amused - so much so that they have it on repeat! It is full of action and excitement and doesn't get boring - considering an average episode is no more than 20 mins. Would recommend to any Sam fan.
