PlayStation 2 Console Slim PS2

Purchased this PlayStation 2 because I needed one for a speedrun I'm learning and was a little nervous because PS2 slims can have issues, but I got exactly what I wanted. System works, reads discs no problem, had all the components I expected. It even got here early, so the dealer wasted no time shipping it to me. I'll definitely be making future purchases from this vendor and recommend him.

Barely had it for a week and the laser is not working and making a grinding noise.

For a while, I've been wanting to own a PlayStation 2 just so I can go back and relive the nostalgia with the games I've played growing up, and when I finally got it I was absolutely filled with joy to have the console in my hands for the first time in nearly a decade. As far as the console itself went, it looked to be in really good shape. I did have to disassemble the console since it looked very dirty on the inside, but after spending some time cleaning it up it has worked wonders so far. The controller works fine, just the D-Pad can be a bit unresponsive to where I have to press down pretty hard on the right one specifically if I'm trying to tweak some settings in-game or on the system in general. Good thing I ordered a extra controller as a backup. So far, so good when it comes to the PS2. Hasn't given me any problems, especially since I had to disassemble it to give it a good cleaning. Overall, I'm impressed.

It was rather scratched on top and was white instead of black and wasn't in original packaging but i didnt expect perfection, It had different cording than I was used to with my old one, and the SD card door was missing, it also had part if a fast food straw wrapping in the cd compartment, it took a bit to start up but hasn't frozen yet but it's only been an hour since I got it

Works better than expected. The PS2 is a great console with classic games. No complaints from me. Always make sure you check for games you would want to play before buying a console. (WARNING) The slim version can get really hot. Also make sure you are buying from a trusted seller and that the console is in PERFECT working condition. Trust me you don't want a half functioning PS2. I had bought a PS2 earlier but it would only play half of the games I had and it wouldn't even play my favorite game (Tenchu: Wrath of Heaven) so I needed a replacement. Great, classic, console. But, be careful who you buy from.

Very happy with this purchase the controller is in good condition and the cords look good aswell the console has some scratches but other than that the console turns on and works I liked the packaging it came in person did a good job thank you again.

Ordered “mint condition” PS2 and came with a ton of scratches and stains all over the front and back. Not worth the money I spent, I spent extra for mint and got used condition

I was looking for a great condition ps2 slim. I had one as a kid and I really missed it. Came across this gem from a third party seller that offered prime shipping. Had little to no scratches, completely dust free, and all original hardware packaged very well. Came with an original Sony ps2 controller, memory card, original av cable, and the power cable and brick. Did not come in it’s original box but I was never looking for the original box anyway. Overall I got everything I was looking for at a fair price. Very happy with my purchase.

The packaging was a wee bit sketchy, pillowcase and a ton of bubble/plastic wrap. But the console is in great condition, work well. Although the L2 button doesn’t work, I’m still leaving a 5 star review because it came with God Of War 2 with no extra cost, which is pretty sweet. The disc was a little scratched but used some toothpaste and it works like new!

This product was disgusting! It came so dirty and I had to wipe it down and the joystick was very sticky. It kept getting stuck and my X button was also jammed. Also the PlayStation is suppose to be Black and it came in silver. The picture shows that there’s a memory card but there is no memory card included but to be fair the description didn’t mention it having a memory card but I still find that disappointing as it’s false advertisement. I also had to clean the laser for it to read my ps2 discs. It would not read any CD until I did so not to mention I had a mint condition ps2 game and it scratched it up. I ended up keeping the ps2 because I was excited to have it and I had to clean it up. But had I known all this I would’ve definitely gone for another seller.

Everything but 1 item worked fine. Did a little cleaning on the console and cords. The 1 item that was acting weird or not working right was the controller, but luckily I had a extra sitting around to replace it. The controller was pausing and unpausing on most of the games I tested it with. Overall, The console and plugins work perfectly fine. Just glad to get my hands on a working console. 4/5
