Looks good so far
Looks good so far. Yes the leash is cheap looking (thats the only reason for star off).Buy another one by searching for 'coiled body board leash' and getting a 4+ star one. I bought the On the Wave leash(, and On the Wave actually makes a well rated competitor product to this one that has that deluxe leash ... that was my 2nd choice... I chose this one cause it was 39" and suited my height and weight range more [5'3" 145lbs]) vs their 37" and 41" options.P.S. the packaging for this was huggge. like 16"x22"x40" ... so I assumed the board was somewhere in the middle or bottom. When I cut the box's tape with a knife carefully (not going deeper than .20" when cutting down), i realized the board was literally right up against the top of the package and the padding was underneath of it.so I now have small slit cut into my board lol. Thanks Amazon, but maybe package it a bit more carefully (its funny i was trying to be careful and still goofed... 1st time I've been picky about packaging and put it into my review[but did not take a star off since its Amazon's fault and not the product]).

Not the greatest, but cheap
Was hoping for better with this, but got what I paid for in the end. Very lightweight of course because EPS core, but less stiff and durable than the best EPS boards, not quite as stiff, and too much curve or rocker. But for the price it's about right, I rode it at Sandy Beach and decent size Pipeline on Oahu believe it or not...

Great Board...Bad Coil leash
Fast board in modest price range. Crescent back is great.I am 5'4" and about 133 lbs. 39" was perfect as I was using a 41" board and it was not good for my size.Their is another Shoreline Board that is sold at Sports Authority that people seem to confuse with this Shoreline Wave Rebel. That board has a flower design and it is a lesser quality board.I purchased the "Creatures of Leisure" DELUXE Wrist Coil Leash. It is amazing. I can see that it will last for years to come. Having a flexible and strong leash really makes the experience so much nicer.I recommend this board for intermediate body borders. Don't expect the leash to last long. Take an extra with you so you don't ruin a day at the beach.Have Fun!

fades easy
Looked great but after a couple months it really started to fade. The board is still good quality just looks pink now instead of red.

Affordable and great for kids
Easy for 11 year old to operate. Band was secure. Held up well. Great for the price!

Doing well so far, will continue to test it
The Wave Rebel is your standard EPS foam body board. I purchased it so my small son (age 3) can have fun riding smaller waves in the tidal zone at the ocean. So far the board has done well and appears to be relatively tough. I will keep an eye on it as time progresses. Two nice things about the board are that it comes with plastic molding to attach an ankle strap (not included) and a bright red version is available. So far, our family is enjoying it.

Looks nice but poor quality
My 13 year old used this board 2 times and the board got a huge bubble in it. Will email select and update review with resolution.

Great quality
Great quality board. I use it in the ocean to float on, so I can't speak to its capabilities as an actual bodyboard, but I can certainly tell you its a better investment than the over-priced ones 95% of families purchase at the ocean during their week-long stay (you know, the white foam ones covered w/ that "fabric"). No "fabric" covering here. Plan ahead and order this one to take along instead.
