The Samlex SEC-2440UL charger is ideal for bulk charging 24 volt battery systems (AGM, Gel, or wet) of 150 amp hour (ah) or more, or as a floating charger (long term maintenance) for batteries 100 ah or more. This unit has proportional fan cooling, mute selection for silencing the fan, and temperature compensation. They can be set for true Gel batteries, 115 VAC or 230 VAC input, or to function as a power supply. Typical applications include automotive, marine, RV, communications, military, robotics, etc. These are industrial quality, reliable units, and excellent for commercial and military applications. We have been waiting for these higher amp units for some time. This unit requires a 30 amp circuit when used at 115 VAC. Replaces SEC-2440A.
