Abbey Gift Irish Trinity Knot Wall Hanging black, 11.8 x 1.6 x 13.2

When I saw this item, I fell in love with it. The wall this item is hanging on in the photo is almost the exact same color as the wall I planned on hanging it on once I purchased it. Then I got it. It looks black in the photo, but it's actually an obvious dark brown. All of my decor is black in that particular room. But I still love this item and it will look fantastic in any room I put it in. The material is a synthetic wood, but it gives it that rustic natural look. :-)

Beautiful, it’s in my dining room prominently placed. Great conversation piece. We are from Dublin Ireland so relevant. Material sturdy, nice artwork piece in home.

I have it hanging on my front door (outdoors) and it is very sturdy and holds up well in the hot and wet Florida weather. I have gotten a lot of compliments on it and will be buying more for Christmas gifts for my Irish family members (and my Puerto Rican ones too!)

The Triquatra was originally pagan. Standing for the mother, the maiden, and the crone. A Triad Goddess representing 3 stages of a woman’s life cycle. While sharing collective wisdom and watching over the sky, the earth, and the underworld. Christianity adopted this symbol much later representing the father, the son, and the Holy Ghost. Tho the card that comes with it is very Christian in nature. I think both interpretations are valid and this makes a perfect gift for anyone who is Pagan, Christian, someone walking a spiritual path or simply someone looking for beautiful Celtic decor to complete their home

Could not have asked for anything better. I wanted the piece to surprise my new husband by incorporating his Scottish heritage into our newlywed home. I hung the knot over our bed and our initials on either side. Funny how the smallest things can tie a new home together. Aside from the sentimental value, the knot itself is well made, sturdy, and the deep coffee color really adds to the highland feel.

It was a lot bigger than I had expected, but it's still going to look nice hanging up. It was also delivered on time and in great shape, although I had to remove two "made in China" tags.

loved it so much as a gift for my son....I bought two more. One for my daughter and one for me. It is larger than I expected. It is heavy iron - not sure if it is wrought iron. But it has a loop to hang it. It is very attractive and yet simple.
