UPDATE: For som reason after the first time of using it she won't go near it. I wish I knew why. She uses her thin leopard one. Plush and thick enough, my 24 year old cat loves it! She's deaf so I don't know about how crinkly it is or if it would bother her. It works great to keep her warm, which is important for a elderly senior cat. I even put it over her when it first came because I didn't want to move her. She doesn't usually tolerate anything on her, but she never moved and actually fell asleep, probably from the warmth. Perfect size to fit on her part of the couch, and thick enough to cushion her bones, although it's not on the floor. Looks great, and I love that it's reversible. I just got it today so I haven't had to clean it yet, but it looks well made so I'm sure it will go through the washer just fine, and it can be spot cleaned. I've had a few other ones and different one and I just take her brush to it to remove the fur it will collect.

Great outdoor heat pads for cats or any smaller sized animal. I have 4 of these from the K&H brand along with 2 of their plug in electronic heat mats and their quality stuff. Everything i own of theirs is anywhere from 1yr to 15yrs old and still works and washes up good. Eventually after so many cleanings it messes with the interior mylar that reflects the heat and doesn't work quite as well as when new but thats usually years down the road. Very affordable and well made. I've bought many different pet beds off Amazon over the past 20yrs and K&H is one of the better ones IMO & IME. I know my 5 cats love these things and in the winter there good to have when the cats go out.

All the outside & inside kitties LOVE these, young or old. It helped get the senior outsiders, who started out as 'strays', but are now mine, cozy & warm during those artic blasts we had this year, they have houses to get into outside, but i always add these thru the winter months, they arent hot like plug in warmers, but i think the softness & their body heat makes it so cozy they dont want to get come out. also, as note, it got cold this winter, mom was always feeling chilly even with her heat on, i got her one of these to put at the back of her chair to keep her back warm, she liked it so much i got her 2 more, one to sit on, one for her lap under her throw, she loves them & stays comfortable using them, she even takes one to bed-so really its not just for our pets only. Very soft, good color. My cats love it, the problem is had was trying to figure out which side was the correct side...so I used the pic on Amazon to figure it out. Once I had the correct side, I would find my cats on it. I haven't had to test the water resistance. It kept the kitties warm when we had neg number coldness. OK on the quality...expected it to be a bit bigger.

The cats love this self warming pad. It is washable and all K&H products have held up for years. This is no exception. Our elderly Siamese loves this in his favorite window seat.

This bed is soft. Thin, not thick at all. Easy to wash and comes out soft and nice. Not bad for the price and it’s for the Kitty I feed outside. As you can see from the pictures Kitty loves her new bed.

It's soft and warms up quickly. My remaining cat loves it. I've purchased two because wherever it goes, she goes and I like to give her options. My other cat didn't care for it and preferred her electric cat bed, probably because she was ancient and needed more help staying warm. I also like sitting on it. It crinkles a little but it's pleasantly warm.

my cat won't use it. because of the reflective layer which I assume does the self-heating thing has a crinkly sound. he doesn't like it. I know there are other cats that don't like that. it's too late to return so it just gets moved around the house so it's out of the way, never getting used. I guess I'll just give it away

Mon chat a adoré directement !

Arrived yesterday and our 12yo kitty loves it !! He hasn’t gotten off it all day. I had to move it from the couch to his bed last night and today purchased another one for the couch !! He’s usually a bit fussy about fluffy fabrics but this is certainly a winner - and yes the warming aspect works really well. Thank you 😊

Its basically exactly what is advertised - my heat-loving cat does not enjoy it as much as I thought though, 4/5

Even during summer, my cat loves this mat! Hope it works better in winter. 🙂
