I have put some weight on due to a medical issue so I’ve acquired the chub rub on my inner thighs. I have tried using a handful of different products only for them to fail or stop working shortly after applying them. This stuff works!!! The smell isn’t the greatest but if it means no chafing, soreness, or redness on my inner thighs I’ll deal with the smell. Not only does the product work but it lasts a long time! No need to keep reapplying it throughout the day; just apply and forget about it. I have also found where I’ve been using it the skin is so soft! The tube is small but I’ve found you need very little.

This product is top shelf and in quality

I used this on my feet for a week long trek on the West Coast Trail this past summer and it worked wonderfully. Zero painful blisters (I did have one tiny blister between my big toe and second toe but it wasn't painful at all). I put it onto my clean feet every morning before heading out. I loved the feeling of having the laying of 'goo' between my feet and my socks.

The product tube failed and the goo came out the bottom crimped end when I tried to use it the first time. I ended up with a bunch of goo in my lap rather a small amount on my finger. I love this stuff but I'm really disappointed with the tube failure.

I went on an 11-day backpacking trip in the Ozarks with 2-4 water crossings every day. It rained most of the first 8 days, and was 85-100% humidity the rest of the time. I put GurneyGoo on my feet every evening and went to bed. By morning, my feet were soft and the skin was fully recovered from the previous day’s long soaking. I used the salve on bits of heat rash and on small scrapes, both of which cleared up very quickly with no infection. Love this stuff and I’ll be taking it with me on all future hiking and backpacking trips!

I began training for an Army class which required a 12 mile ruck march at the end. After doing some research I landed on Gurney Goo and decided to purchase a tube to give it a try. I started off with a 4 mile, 30 lb ruck sack, with Army authorized boots. I applied the Gurney Goo as directed on the bottle and had a blister free ruck march. Every week I progressed 2 miles and after 4 weeks I completed a 12 mile march with 45 lbs and I had no blisters on my feet. I also would apply it before I went to bed a few times during the week. Great product.

Excellent product for those that hike, however, the new packaging dos not work. As a hiker, this was a product that was recommended and that we in turn have recommended as the beast solution for chaffing - it is the most effective product out there, however the form factor (large container) really is useless when trying to pack small. Go back to the original form factor of a small tube with the same contents.

I used gurney goo at World's Toughest Mudder, a 24 hour obstacle race in the desert outside of Las Vegas. The course goes in and out of the water and over rocky, dusty, hilly terrain. I covered my feet in Gurney Goo and also put it any area that might rub (including my ... nether regions). When it got cold at night I coated my hands in it before putting on gloves. For 24 hours I ran in wet shoes and socks. For 20 hours or so my hands were inside damp gloves. But I had no blistering, no rubbing and NO PRUNING. In the days following others (who did not use GG) complained about the skin peeling off their feet and hands and even lost toenails, but I had absolutely none of this and I attribute it to Gurney Goo. I now use it for any run 10 miles or longer especially when I know that I'll be wet from water or sweat.

2025秋の東京エクストリームウォーク100(100kmウォーク)で初めて使用しました。 当日は終日雨の悪天候でした。 靴はびっしょり濡れて、足の裏はふやけてしまいましたが、定期的に当商品を塗り直していたら、なんと豆はほぼ出来ずに完歩できました。 しかも記録は20時間を切り、個人新記録でゴールできました。 100kmウォークでは、いつも足に豆ができて痛みに悩まされていたことが嘘のようです。しかも雨の日なのに！ このような商品は気休めだろうと思われる方もいらっしゃる方もいるかもしれませんが、本物だと思いました。

100キロウォークの大会で途中まめが出来そうなので塗ったら（一部出来ていた）それから全く気にならなくなった おかげでその後快適に歩けた

夜、朝、２回塗布してみたいなので、 寝る前に塗布するのに少し抵抗ありました。 今は、出発前だけにしてます。

走る前に塗っています。最初は半信半疑でしたが、塗り忘れると、その効果を実感します。これからも使い続けたいです。いい商品です。
