Absolutely what I wanted, it’s a beautiful trough!

I saw some mixed reviews which did make hesitate but the pots fit the space I have so perfectly I thought I would give them a try. I am so pleased I did. Measurements a were exactly as specified, the pots were delivered the next day, great quality and seem robust. I am using them indoors. So very happy with this purchase.

I received a beautiful climbing rose as a present and wanted a big enough but minimal pot to put it in. Yhese pots are lovely, not cheap but worth the money. Quite heavy so won't blow over.

The planter arrived eventually and was the right size. At first sight it looked nice, but it turned yo be chipped and split in several places at the top. As it would have been too much trouble to repack and return it I kept it. The shipping firm will have to be more careful transporting such big and expensive items!

Love them and they were packed beautifully…… but I’m disappointed when the packaging came off both had a small chip on the top side ! Obviously done when the plastic was wrapped round each one ! I’ll obviously keep them and try to find a paint match. Such tassel really and a real shame !

These Idealist 60cms x 30cms x 50.5cms planters have enough height for simple less-vigorous plants to offer some attractive screening. They are tough enough to stand up to normal UK weather provided the contents don’t freeze into a solid block of ice. I needed to dress a somewhat forlorn and forgotten patio, one lumbered with an air-con unit and some plumbing. I gave each planter a level base using a cemented-in paver to support each corner, and this gained a bit more height. I also lined each one with 25mm thick expanded polystyrene sheet, from the builders’ merchant, as protection for the roots and soil against both sun and frost. Inside are the usual drainage and soil arrangements to suit the chosen plants. See the picture. I don’t normally mention packaging, but in this case I was impressed by the high quality pallet shipping taking care of the planters, and none showed any damage.
