and it didn't disappoint (at least in my household)
This movie came out at the very height of Barney's popularity, and it didn't disappoint (at least in my household). The plot is cute and whimsical, fascinating to little kids and suffciently bizarre to hold adults' interest, too. The actors are winning, especially Diana Rice in the role of Abby. After an interval of several years without viewing it, my 11-year-old son, in a fit of nostalgia, requested that we watch the movie again; the scene when Barney first appears made him laugh as hard as I've ever seen him laugh in his entire life. If you're a hater, there's likely nothing here that will change your mind--but if, like us, you have a soft spot in your heart for the franchise, this weird, playful movie may tickle your fancy as it does ours.

This reminds me of Sanford & son. Great Sanford siege . This was seen on the more songs dvd and I had to get it

My 2 year old twin boys were given this as a present by a family friend. I had not heard of Barney the Dinosaur and when I saw the cover, I thought that I would not want to watch it. How could I have been more wrong? My boys love it and if I allowed them, they would watch it every day! The songs are vibrant, the story is entertaining and I even found myself "using my imagination" to immerse myself into the story. It is wonderful and children of all ages will love it. Highlights for me include the songs "If all the raindrops" at Chez Snob (I defy anyone not to be singing and dancing to this by the time it ends!), "Imagine", "We're going to find a way" and "I love you". Simply superb!

I love the movie never see his movie befor it so cool hugs and done not Skip and when the dvd is done it play back from the start when I am watching at night so when falling a sleep

I loved that it arrived quite quickly, works perfectly and is such a lovely thing to show kids. Something I grew up with and learnt so much from. So many wonderful songs, (kids sing a long and love it) encourages imagination and team work. I really reccomend it.
