Great mini iron
So far love everything about this mini iron for doing fabric collage. The stand easily hooks to it and stays on and works very well. I have been using on medium setting and it is very hot and works beautifully. Cannot speak to durability as just started using it but so far most impressed. On and off controls handy and easy to use.

Love my Mini Iron II
I was torn between buying the regular Mini Iron and the Mini Iron II because I wasn't really sure if I would need the extra attachments that come with the Mini Iron II. However, I'm very glad I bought the one with the adapter because I have discovered that I do indeed need the accessories! I use my MIni Iron II for small projects like 1/4" seams on patchwork quilts and for ironing down binding strips. I hated using my big, bulky iron before because I was constantly burning my fingers or scorching them with the steam. I have yet to burn myself since using this. I'm purchasing the bigger head because I think it will come in handy for navigating the larger patchwork pieces once they are seamed together. The only drawbacks I've had so far is that the high setting is VERY hot, more suitable for using the hot knife than for ironing cotton and the iron takes a while to reach temperature. It's also notable that the small clover stand that comes with the iron doesn't have very good grip and it's a constant struggle to keep it on the ironing board. I usually have to put it on a work table beside me, which worries me because I have small children. This would make the larger cooling stand a good purchase, but for safety reasons should be the one they include with the iron. All in all, a good tool to have for quilting and I'm sure for countless other projects.

Works great. Problem w/ plastic stand.
Works quite well. The high setting is REALLY hot! Burn your skin hot!! I use it for spot heating collage quilting. Use pressing paper over your project so the hot head doesn’t pick up adhesive. And, the stand it comes with a plastic stand. Don’t use it. The plastic melted on the iron head and ruined it. I’ll need to replace the head. Use a silicone mat to set it on instead. Sort of a dumb component (plastic) with high heat.

Great tool
First time using a mini iron and purchased as a recommendation from an aunt who has been sewing for many years. I love this little guy! I am in the process of piecing a quilt and believe it has taken hours out of the process not having to get up and go to the ironing board for every seam. I have a snack tray set up beside me with a towel to cover and the iron close at hand. Does a great job of pressing the seam without "stretching" the finished block. You do have to be careful to properly rest the hot plate of the iron on the stand provided as I failed to pay attention at first and have a few scorched spots on the towel. It does get hot and I have only had the iron set on med/high for great results.

A great little mini iron.
I use this mini-iron in my quilting and it works terrific. It has various temps and works very well. It's perfect for all my sewing needs that work better for small projects.

Very handy for small pressing needs, excellent instructions.
This is a very useful little tool. Bought for an applique project. Thorough instructions came with the tool. I have not pursued alternate heads. Works best for cotton on high.

Exactly what I needed and wanted!
I debated whether or not to purchase this iron because of the bad reviews. I bought it anyway, and I am so glad I did! I do a lot of quilt-as-you-go projects and ironing the seams was so difficult with a full-size iron. This iron is absolutely perfect. It does take a long time to heat up, but it has three temperature settings, and once it gets going, it's a real workhorse. I do agree with other reviewers that you have a tendency to press down on it, and the design doesn't really afford you that luxury, I am hoping that someday they can improve the design, but in the meantime, I will simply be very careful when I am using it. If it dies prematurely, I will update my review and remove stars - but for now - I'm extremely happy with this purchase!

Not so good, as far as quickly heating
I read all the reviews about people getting burn injuries with this iron & started to use it on Medium. It took forever to heat. I’d expected a more immediate heat up.

It’s good and quality
This mini iron is good for me, I was using it to iron small Heat transfer vinyl, the size of it perfectly for my job. Furthermore it has a cover so you will never burn your hand, you have to waiting 5 mins for the temperature up to 200c
